I graduated from the music academy in Aalter in 2019 for piano. I also had a very good teacher myself, from whom I learned a few things. A first lesson always starts with a short conversation about what the expectations are that the student has and what he or she would like to be able to do at the end of the lesson or series of lessons. I like working with chords and improvising. Over the years I have developed my way of playing almost all the music you hear on the radio at different levels relatively quickly, after some practice. If you also want to be able to do this, I can certainly help you on your way and give useful tips from my own experience. Do you want to learn to play with chords yourself and receive practical tips and guidance or are you looking for coaching in learning new pieces? If you want to learn to read and play sheet music on the piano yourself, I can certainly give you a crash course and guide you through your first pieces of music. Anyone of any level can come to me, although it is recommended to have a basic knowledge of music and piano in order to work efficiently. I also have 2 younger sisters who play the piano and I regularly help them practice new pieces. I always remain patient and explain it 100 times if necessary until it is in the fingers. As a piano student I experienced myself that this is the most pleasant and best way to practice piano pieces.
