Baby and Me Family American Sign Language (ASL) Class

This class is designed for parents to learn the basic signs needed to communicate with a toddler. We will learn signs that can be used for everyday needs as well as the alphabet depending on the age of your child.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

I highly recommend getting your whole family involved and learning ASL together. ASL is also a great language skill for young children to learn while just learning to talk as the signs will feel more natural the younger the child is.

About Me

I am currently studying Elementary Education and Special Education. I am fluent in American Sign Language and have love to share the beautiful language with everyone! I also have a love of writing and the art of using words to express yourself. My classes can be slowed down or sped up based on your needs. I am flexible with my schedule and can meet for local classes when I am not at work or school.

Education

I will graduate from Central Arizona College in May of 2020 with my AAEE. In August of 2020, I plan to attend Northern Arizona University to complete my Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education.

Experience / Qualifications

- I completed Advanced Sign Language Classes in high school.
- I love writing and have taken creative writing classes.
- Sharing my love for both ASL and writing with others are my favorite things to do.
This class will help with the drafting, editing, and finalization of college applications and scholarships. We will discuss what to expect when just entering college, where to find those little hidden scholarships, and how to organize your resumes. I will be graduating from CAC in May and have not paid one penny towards my college degree. I have actually received a check back from the college that was money left over from my scholarships.
Sign language is a wonderful language to know for many reasons including having a better understanding of the deaf community. This class is an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the language as well as learn beginning terms. The fundamentals of sign language as well as proper movements are focused on during this class. We will go over the alphabet, everyday words, and questions used in everyday life. I can teach terms you request as well. Let me know what you would like to focus on and what would be most beneficial to you. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Turkish Lesson . İf you want to learn Turkish i can help you.
I have been giving Turkish lessons for years. It can help you learn Turkish fluently in a short time. 1- If you are a beginner I will start with you from "0". If you are not a beginner we will have daily conversations with you. 2- Time is the most important asset of people. So I won't waste your time with useless texts. 3- I will inform you about the planned lesson before the lesson. If you have the time and study before you come to class, you will learn very quickly. 2- We will keep the lessons focused on practice. (This is very important for me and for you) 3- We will not talk about boring grammar rules for minutes. You will already learn these rules while practicing. I will also inform you about the rules that are not understood. 3-We will do a quick repetition at the beginning of each lesson. I will not skip any moment if it is not clear to you. 4- We will not do unnecessary exams :) Because exams are not fun :) If you say exam is important to me, we will think about something for you :) 5- You will be able to understand the series more in a short time. You will be able to talk to people whose mother tongue is Turkish. 6- You will be able to buy a ticket and come to Turkey on your own. 7- I will show you every important moment in Turkish language 8- If something is not understood, we can repeat it 100 times. 9- If you have advanced Turkish level, if you are at B or C level. I will teach you information that you cannot understand when you hear it on the street. 10- I will teach you daily Turkish and street Turkish :) If you are a fan of Turkish TV series, if you want to visit Turkey, if you are going to Turkey for vacation or if you want to speak a little Turkish, I am waiting for you. Please look at the calendar, if the lesson times are not available, write to me. Some clocks may appear off. I will try to arrange the time convenient for you. See you later :) I have been interested in teaching Turkish to foreigners for a while. Learning should definitely be fun. It should be like a conversation, not like a lecture. That's why I will give you the necessary information before the lesson. When you come to class, you will feel more comfortable and you will be able to speak more comfortably. Turkish is not a language to be afraid of :) Tell me why you want to learn Turkish and please join the class :)
