GROUND PREPARATION FOR FIRST AIRLINE OFFICER

Aircrew and instructor in Naval Aviation on aircraft and helicopter, FI(A) aircraft pilot instructor, holder of the ATPL(A) and PPL/CPL IR MEP, I offer to support you in your theoretical progression. After a 28-year military aeronautical career strongly oriented towards operations, flight and ground instruction (simulation, indoor courses), on planes as well as on combat and sea rescue helicopters, I validated in December 2022 the ATPL (A) and previously the PPL. I offer to support you in video conferences and share with you my very recent feedback on the ATPL (A) "Learning Objective 2021", allowing you to set up the routines for success while helping you to surpass the blocking points that you may encounter.

The general English courses are aimed at adolescents or adults who want to reinforce their knowledge of the language, fluency and improve their pronunciation, as well as grammatical structure. The classes are dynamic, entertaining and with a focus on orality. We will focus on real situations and not on repetitive and meaningless exercises. Aeronautical English classes are for the public in this environment: pilots, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, dispatchers and ground staff. We will give classes focused on the student's operational context and tailored according to the basic level of English. These classes have a higher cost than those of general English.

Aviation English is a type of English for specific purposes, in this case English used by aviation professionals such as cabin crew, pilots and air traffic controllers. After many years overseas, both teaching and examining English, I have returned to Spain and am available to share my extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of English. I currently work as an Aviation teacher in a school in Alicante where I have taught for some years. My teaching approach is student-centred and communicative, where learning is a positive experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All my students are encouraged to speak as much as possible to increase fluency. Professionalism, patience and a good sense of humour guaranteed! All lesson materials are provided free of charge. I teach using a mixture of coursebook material , whiteboard presentations, listening activities, video clips and general speaking practice. Classes are for people aged 18 years old and above. Support and preparation courses for PPL exams. The student chooses the theme to address from the different subjects covered in the PPL theory. My goal is not only to help understand certain subjects but also to make the theory more interesting and to make the student aware of the importance of theory in flight safety always with practical examples.
