The level of the course will adapt to the level of the student, from primary to university. It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

Our series of courses is aimed at those who would like to improve their knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek and share our passion for ancient cultures but also the languages of the world which, thanks to comparative linguistics, are magnificent tools for exchange and dialogue. We offer both our knowledge of philology and targeted exercises on Greek and Latin grammar and an introduction to Anatolian, Portuguese and Old Norse languages. We are happy to discuss with everyone and adapt our reading themes to suit our audience. Courses can be taken in modules, in groups or individually.

History is what connects the present to the past and helps us to predict the future. In my class, you will learn modern european history, in particular the history of Germany from 1918 to 1989. You will be taught by a world class teacher that has studied European history to a high level, gaining an A in the subject. The key aspects of the history of Germany will be broken down into manageable chunks for students to understand more easily. The classes are delivered through interactive learning consisting of kahoot quizes, powerpoint slides and asking questions to students. The teacher is a Ugandan PhD student in International History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He won a Government of Uganda Scholarship to pursue his undergraduate studies at Gulu University, gaining a first-class degree in Bachelor of Arts Education (History and Economics). Isa is also a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied for an MPhil in African Studies as a Commonwealth Scholar. He has more than eight years of teaching experience, both at the secondary school and university level. In the past, he has taught classes on European, British, African, US, Asian, and Middle East histories. My history classes are suitable for the 10, 11, 12, and 13-year-old UK and IGCSE students (Cambridge International Curriculum) and AS and A-Level students (UK and Cambridge International). The learners will study history from political, economic, cultural, and social perspectives. They will develop an interest in understanding the past. Besides learning historical concepts such as cause, consequence, change, and continuity, learners will also gain a deeper understanding of global issues. Above all, students will develop higher-order thinking skills.

This class will support students studying history up to GCSE level by understanding exam structure and learning revision techniques to remember important dates. It will include engaging content to provoke interest in students and encourage them to ask questions to improve their knowledge of the subject. I studied History at GCSE and A level, obtaining a Grade 7 and an A respectively. I also wrote an extended essay on Victorian History at A level, in which I obtained an A also. I have relevant experience working with children; I volunteered at a local youth club for two years and I have extensive experience with childminding. I worked as a Teaching Assistant during Sixth form in history classes so I have knowledge of teaching and student support. I also have a certified Level 3 safeguarding qualification.

History is a subject often considered uninteresting. But I try to design my course according to your needs, your difficulties and even facilities in order to create a course in which you will flourish. Also, I am a student in History and therefore I can help you with the methodology and recommend several books to deepen your subjects. The course will be divided according to the periods: First, Ancient Rome, from Romulus to the death of Nero where we will study the different aspects of Roman life and its politics. We will also study Ancient Greece, also considered the cradle of history with its mythology, daily life and the wars that marked it. The Middle Ages will be studied from the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476. We will go through Clovis, religion but also royalty. Then, we will study the modern era with plague epidemics, life under the old Regime and the different kings as well as their life at court without forgetting the wars of religion and absolutist reigns as well as the History of the English Revolutions . Finally, the contemporary era (where I am most comfortable), where we will study the Catholic Church, the working world but also the global aspects of this period. We will also focus on the two world wars with the civilian impacts they had. If you want a course on the HGGSP, we will follow the program according to the pace you study in class. I would also like to train you orally, by doing some courses, by teaching you to master a PowerPoint and finally by teaching you the methodology of the dissertation, the presentation, the text commentary and finally the bibliography.
