A little about myself: I am a 21-year-old young professional from Austria, born and raised in the beautiful Alps in Innsbruck. My experience in tutoring includes various subjects: English, German, Mathematics and Geography. I am passionate about meeting people and being able to share my knowledge. Throughout the last years I have studied and worked in English environments and have thus gained full proficiency and a level of C2. Besides English, I am fully proficient in German, have an intermediate understanding of Dutch and Italian, as well as basic knowledge of French. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing.
