I am a professional jazz pianist, singer, and composer, performing over 200 events per year. I studied in North Carolina, Los Angeles, and the UK. I teach all of the above at any level, and would be happy to discuss scheduling lessons with you. With teens and adults, I take a different approach and try to get the student to be able to play a simple song or piece after the first lesson. I also teach theory with each piece learned so that it is a natural part of the learning process.
