Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds at the homework school in Saint-Gilles (CASG du Service Social Juif asbl) as well as 4 years of private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! As a university student in mathematics, I propose to share my passion and enthusiasm for maths with those who are struggling or just curious and want to learn more! My approach is based on building student confidence + a few tips and tricks so that they can trust their intuition when solving mathematical exercises.

I hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy and 2 Masters degrees from the University of Paris V René-Descartes. Since the beginning of my higher education, and since I established myself as a freelancer after 10 years of managerial career in the pharmaceutical industry, I have been used to regularly giving private lessons to pupils and students of all levels, Primary, Secondary and Higher, supporting them until they pass their exams. I am an engineer graduated for 19 years from INSA Center Val De Loire with 10 years of experience in risk studies of industrial systems. I offer private lessons in mathematics for the secondary level. I can help with the preparation of questions or exams. My goal is to advance the student without overloading him. Mathematics and science subjects can weigh heavily on your study career during secondary education. It is therefore important to perform well on this. Bonjour! My name is Anastasia, I am a 24 years old French native and I am here to help you improve your French skills. I have been teaching students of various levels from all around the world for over 5 years. I have helped students prepare for French exams like the DELF, as well as those who are planning to move to a French-speaking country and need real-life language skills. I understand the challenges of learning a language, having learned two languages myself: English and Portuguese, and plan to learn more. I have faced difficulties, hit walls, and overcome them, and I believe that my experience as a language learner makes me a well-rounded teacher. However, I do not claim to know everything about teaching, as I am constantly learning. I tailor my teaching method to best suit the needs of my students. I use interactive resources such as images, videos, and texts to help my students learn effectively. For beginners, I recommend trying out the Pimsleur method, which is a 30-minute audio lesson based on gradual interval recall. This method reviews learned vocabulary at increasingly longer intervals and has been used by the CIA. If you are interested, we can discuss how to use this method together. I offer French lessons remotely through Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams or at the students place. When the lesson is online, I use a platform that allows us to see and modify documents, images, and videos in real-time, which is very useful. As a linguist, I never judge a speaker no matter how good or bad they are. I have every needed skill to help you to make your speaking closer to the standard French spoken in Belgium or France. I continually adapt the teaching (phonetics, grammar, syntax, etc...) to the needs of the students. According to your needs, we can work on speaking, writing, or both.

The French language, what a hassle! Learning French is a real obstacle course !! Between the words that are not pronounced as they are written, the feminine / masculine, the conjugation of sleeping upright, the accents .... I am here to give you (re) taste this beautiful language thanks to a playful learning and inspired by speech therapy techniques. Depending on demand, we can work on the lexicon as well as reading, spelling, or even understanding text. I am also open to other areas. My journey : I obtained the speech therapist diploma at Marie Haps in 2019, while giving private lessons for a long time in parallel with my studies.
