I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I have studied at Cambridge, Oxford and Harvard. I completed my undergraduate Law degree, my Masters and a scholarship programme at each, respectively. I use my expertise to directly assist my students to achieve all of their goals. For this reason, I have a very high success rate. I have taught over 10,000 tutoring hours thus far, alongside my professional career - including at the University of Oxford. My specialisms are; Human Rights Law, International Law and Constitutional Law. I also tutor every core subject in the LLB and LLM degrees. History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

My teaching style is student-centered and adaptive, focusing on making learning both enjoyable and highly effective. I tailor lessons to meet each student's unique learning style, combining real-world examples, visual aids, and structured exercises to simplify complex topics. My goal is to build a strong conceptual foundation while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Having excelled in the IB Diploma myself, achieving 6s and 7s in all the subjects I teach at higher level—Economics, Politics and, English Language and Literature —I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in the program. I understand the pressure students face and provide guidance on both mastering content and developing strong exam strategies, including time management and familiarity with past papers. Theoretical subjects and languages often seem complicated to grasp. The concepts and terminology the former contains sometimes make it difficult for students to get a proper hold on a basic part of the subjects. However, I will introduce all these theoretical concepts to you uniquely and in a storytelling mode. Theories and Thinkers of Sociology and Criminology Explore the ideas that have shaped sociology and criminology with a focus on influential thinkers and groundbreaking theories. This class covers major sociological and criminological theories, from classical frameworks to contemporary perspectives. Students will examine the works of key thinkers like Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Foucault, and others, understanding how their ideas contribute to our knowledge of society and criminal behavior. For any A-level students who are looking for further help with politics, we can focus on one module per session and hone in on the theory of it and ensure the student knows examples. Additionally to this, come exam season we can practice how to write essays. As a former politics A-level student i know overwhelming the subject could be, so my role would be to help organise and go through the course.

I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level sociology and psychology and also I am able to teach GCSE religious studies. As I am a newly graduated student hence I am up to date with today’s curriculum and what to teach students. I can help them achieve amazing grades i can make them the notes they need to revise as well as more simplified way of teaching them. This will help them understand better. Over the years I have helped and tutored students in various subjects. This varied from primary students to A Level students. With over one year experience in teaching and a decade long experience with adolescents and young adults, I, herein, present my course in "International Humanitarian Law". In today's globalized world where the effects and repercussions of a conflict are not confined within a single state, it becomes crucial to know what rules are in place that regulate conflict and provide protection to those who are vulnerable. Aiming to mitigate and prevent human suffering in an armed conflict, International Humanitarian Law gives us answers to questions, such as: who can and cannot be targeted and under which conditions; at what times does a protected person lose protection; who is a combatant; what distinguishes a combatant from a civilian; and, what protections are available to those who do not take part in an armed conflict. Amidst the many interstate conflicts, such as, Ukraine-Russia, Iran-Israel and Palestine-Israel conflicts, as well as the intrastate ones, such as in Sudan, having a working knowledge of International Humanitarian Law becomes even more vital as it re-establishes one's trust in law and humanity at such uncertain times as these ones.

Political Science is a very complex subject if you have not understood the basics of approaching the subject. This course will make you familiar with the basic approach required to understand the subject and also will give you an in-depth understanding of the subject.

This course offers O and A Level students a comprehensive introduction to the field of sociology, exploring the fundamental concepts and theories that shape our understanding of human society. Students will examine the structure of societies, the role of institutions, and the ways in which individuals interact within various social groups. Key topics include socialization, culture, class, gender, race, and power dynamics. Through case studies, group discussions, and critical analysis, students will gain insight into how societies function, how social inequalities emerge, and how social change occurs.
