About Me

I taught for 4 years in Urban Title 1 Schools in the Southern USA. I now attend King's College of London in Educational Policy and Society. Teaching and working with children has always been my passion. I was named "Teacher of the Year" at the school I worked at in the United States and my class had the highest pass rate on the state standardized test in the school I taught at. I always put in 100% effort when teaching and believe that all children can succeed and do hard things. I am kind, patient, inclusive, and open- minded. Your child will feel happy, safe, comfortable, and confident in my tutoring sessions.

Math classes for primary and secondary school (students)
We will structure our work based on the student’s request. If the goal is to improve school grades and gain a better understanding of the school curriculum in mathematics, we will review the topics covered in class during our lessons. We will focus on the areas that are most challenging and unclear. Throughout the lesson, we will go through typical tasks from the classroom. If the student wants to improve their general understanding of mathematics, we will create a personalized lesson plan and follow it. The individualized plan will include topics of varying complexity and from different areas of mathematics. Math classes for primary and secondary school

A Level/GCSE Science - Tutoring in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
I'm offering a structured programme that guides students through A level and GCSE science specifications, covering all subjects. My lessons are highly personalised, with an emphasis on cultivating a general enthusiasm and love for science and reaching exam technique proficiency. Active recall, interactive discussions, innovative revision methods, as well as occasional deep dives into some exciting, extra-curricular content, are all heavily featured in my courses, as the ultimate goal is to equip my tutees with the necessary skillset to not just work hard, but in an organised, time-efficient manner.

Alexandru
London School of Economics Master's student in Mathematics with one year experience in preparing students for IB. Currently tutoring student
We will work on your understanding of the most important concepts by doing practice exercises. We will start with the easiest ones and we will gradually increase the difficulty as you progress. Additionally, we will do lots of past papers, especially if you want to prepare for a specific examination. We are going to keep track of your level and mark your improvements session by session. During our sessions, we can focus on different areas of Maths according to your needs, from Algebra and Calculus to Statistics and Probability. Additionally, we can work on exam taking techniques such as Time Management and how to practice effectively for an exam. I am excited to tutor other people that want to learn Maths, because I get to share my passion for the subject while making a positive impact. To me, it is a very rewarding experience, because of the feeling of accomplishment to help others succeed.

Science and Maths tuition made easy (life’s difficult so why over complicate things?)
Maths and science are among the most useful topics in the world today. And yet, rather frustratingly, these topics remain rather incomprehensible for many students (with a good majority finding them extremely difficult) With my sessions I do my best to make both maths and science as engaging and enjoyable as possible. The main goal is not just to overload students with information but also to try to gain some insight into the both topics - hopefully students will come out of lessons much better at science and with an appreciation for how weird and wonderful the world truly is
