I am a university student and I would like to tutor girls online to support them at secondary level. You can contact me if you have difficulty with learning or for example projects and homework. I would like to briefly discuss your wish(s) at the beginning. My availability is not always the same, so what is stated below may change. I can help with various subjects. I have completed German, English and Dutch at VWO level.

Dutch for foreigners. Have you come to live in the Netherlands and would you like to learn Dutch? I offer individual lessons from A0 to B1. Help with the integration exam. Customization, so that we can fill in the lessons at your level. Speaking, listening, writing and reading are covered. It is important that you enjoy it. I work from my enthusiasm and spontaneity. I have more than 40 years of experience with the English language, have lived in South West England for > 16 years and worked for many years in business in both the UK and the Netherlands. With a lot of hands-on experience with the language and internally improving the language use of international colleagues (Thailand, Philippines, Dutch, etc.), I now also have a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate and have now focused on teaching. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

In the lessons I am happy to help you with your questions about Dutch grammar and we can work together on your speaking, writing and/or listening skills. Do you have homework that you need help with? Prepare in an efficient, intensive way for the ITNA (Interuniversity Language Test Dutch), based on tailor-made exercises. We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation. As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language.
