Professional musician, multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, with several albums and hundreds of concerts to my credit, teaching students of all ages for over 10 years, offers home lessons in piano (or other keyboards), guitar (acoustic or electric), bass, drums, in contemporary music styles, pop-rock, varieties... for beginner level students. Taiko Drumming is both a traditional instrument and an innovative medium for making contemporary music. I am Eva, a professional Taiko Drummer, and I have playing the Taiko drums for 30 years. Lessons will be taught online on weekdays and on-site in central Tokyo on weekends, in groups. Private lessons can be arranged upon request. Here is my profile: Born in Tokyo, Japan, Eva was raised by a family of scholars and artists with mixed German and Japanese heritage. From a young age, she learned how to play piano after her father introduced her to classical music, while she simultaneously learned Taiko after her mother introduced her to the Japanese arts. After graduating from the International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, Japan, she attended Cornell University in New York, USA, where she earned a B.A. in Philosophy. While attending Cornell, she joined the Cornell University Percussion Ensemble. The following year, she co-founded the Taiko drumming student organization called Cornell Taiko (YAMATAI) and she was the lead drummer and Musical Director. After graduating from Cornell at the young age of 22, she returned to Japan and started performing professionally. She started her solo career a year later. Eva is also trained in Japanese folk dance (with a focus on male styles) and has a passion for street dance and locking. She joined an Awa dance team affiliated with the prestigious Koenji Awa Dance Association and made her way to become one of the top female dancers in Japan. Today, she brings Japanese taiko drumming and song to a brand new context of pop music and also performs with many distinguished artists, musicians, dancers, and Taiko drummers across multiple genres. Eva does not only perform using taiko, she also uses a number of other instruments that have a distinct flavor of the Japanese environment including Koto (Japanese Harp), Voice, and Piano. Eva also works in the field of education and teaches taiko drumming workshops to both children and adults and is also involved in humanitarian efforts such as raising awareness for the disabled. Her music, dynamic performances, and selfless spirit continue to inspire not only her many fans but all who witness her performances all over the world. ​ ​In 2023, her original music was published by Harper Collins Publisher and she was also the cover image of their music textbook. In 2024, her original music was utilized by Cambridge International Curriculum, used in over 160 countries and 10,000 schools, which sets a global standard for education, and is recognized by universities and employers worldwide.

Drums and percussion lessons according to your style desires: rock, hip-hop, jazz, funk, reggae ... I adapt to each request, from beginners to more advanced students. I always emphasize the playful side of music, the pleasure of playing and the motivation and personal desires of the student! Confirmed professional drummer, I studied drums and percussion at the Geneva University of Music and obtained 2 masters there, one in pedagogy, the other in interpretation. I have been teaching drums and percussion for 15 years. I had the chance to perform as a musician in Brazil, Switzerland, France, Palestine, India, Belgium, Italy. I have played in many rock, jazz, Balkan music, improvised music, Irish music ... I am also an accompanist for contemporary dance at the Cfpa in Geneva and teach at Emts in Coppet.

Since 2012 I have been teaching with a clear mission: to provide each student with the necessary tools to develop their autonomy and creativity, with a practical approach that integrates theory as a complement to active learning. We will work on aspects such as: - Instrument posture and ergonomics - Technique and reading - Styles and interpretation - Preparation of musical repertoires - Improvisation - Studio vs. Live Philosophy - Advanced rhythmic concepts Classes are tailored to each student's specific objectives, whether they are personal goals, auditions or entrance exams for conservatories.

Both fun and rigorous percussion lessons! I try in my lessons to make people want to play music while instilling a taste for the necessary work in music. I adapt my requirements and my expectations according to the profile of the student throughout his training. The course of a classic beginner's course (30 minutes): 5 min of technique, 5 min of reading notes / rhythms, 20 min of work on a piece. Currently in Bachelor of Percussion at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, I give percussion lessons at home for all levels in Geneva and its surroundings.

Student in Engineering School offers courses in Math and Physics (up to Bachelor level). Being well aware of the difficulties that students may encounter in these subjects, I propose a personalized and simplified pedagogy of mathematics and physics that will help you better understand these subjects. I am also a drummer for 13 years and I am willing to give music lessons.

I'm a professional drummer from Spain, but living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I have studied Latin drums at Codarts, university of the arts, in Rotterdam, so I've acquired a lot of knowledge and skills on Cuban and Brazilian music, jazz, funk and Pop. I've performed in places such as: North Sea Jazz Festival, Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Tivoli (Utrecht), Jazzcafe Dizzy, etc...

Trained at the conservatory, then at the Progressive Drum School, I then sought to improve myself by taking private lessons from references such as Loïc Pontieux, Franky Costanza, Kevin Reveyrend or Franck Aghulon. I have taught drums and music theory to students of all ages, all levels and in different contexts: recreational practice, exam preparation, putting on shows. I have also conducted musical workshops for organizations such as youth centers, elementary or nursery schools, and social centers, for projects ranging from musical awareness to the production of shows or music videos. I therefore have very comprehensive teaching experience and know how to adapt to different audiences. Now being a full-time professional musician, I also want to share my professional experience with students. During my teaching career I have questioned myself a lot about the problem of the teaching method because there is no single model of student and giving a course is not just giving a list of exercises. So I try to understand the student and advise him on the best method and the best pace of practice.
