I provide A-level and GCSE History tutoring. In classes we will work on strengthening knowledge of the subject as well as practice essay structures/planning and exam technique. Homework will be set when necessary but I will always take into consideration the students' school timetable first. I will happily provide progress reports. For Bachelor students in History/International Relations/ related subjects the classes are individually designed to address the concerns of the student. This could include clarifying topics/knowledge or essay/exam help for example.

This course offers an interdisciplinary approach to exploring social sciences, philosophy and Arabic language learning. It aims to provide learners with a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts of social sciences, to develop critical thinking skills in philosophy. In social sciences, we will analyze social dynamics, institutions and social phenomena, such as mental health, education, family and inequality. Students will study classical and contemporary sociological theories while developing a critical understanding of the structures that govern society. Philosophy, for its part, will encourage an exploration of major ethical, existential and metaphysical questions, with an emphasis on reflection and logical reasoning. Students will be invited to question the concepts of justice, truth and freedom, and to connect these notions to contemporary issues. In parallel, learning the Arabic language will be aimed at non-native speakers wishing to develop their oral and written communication skills. The course will offer an immersion in the basics of grammar, vocabulary and cultural expressions, allowing students to express themselves in Arabic in various contexts. Having refined essay writing skills is integral in order to achieve high marks in any English Literature course. I am in my 4th year of my MA English Literature degree and having also done it at A-level so I am very knowledgeable on the requirements that encompass a good essay. You will learn how to refine arguments, come up with theses and keep a sustained argument throughout.
