About Me

Hey, I'm Tejas! As a mechanical engineering student at UC Irvine, I love math, physics, and making random things with my 3D Printer. In my free time, I'll probably be playing basketball or listening to music.
Hello, my name is Tejas, and I am a mechanical engineering student at UC Irvine. I'm offering 1-on-1 tutoring online, and the subjects I tutor are math and physics (elementary to high school level), introduction to coding, and elementary to middle school English. I can help with current coursework, or prepare students for upcoming classes. Along with tutoring for the past 5 years, I graduated with a 4.51 weighted GPA from High School, an 800 math SAT score, and have a 4.0 college GPA. I would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to family and friends!

Mechanical engineering topics is a broad field that covers various related to the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems. Here's a brief overview of the core subjects you would typically study during a mechanical engineering program at university: Mathematics: Calculus: For understanding changes in systems, modeling dynamic behavior, and analyzing forces and motions. Linear Algebra: Used for solving systems of equations, matrix operations, and structural analysis. Differential Equations: Essential for modeling physical systems that change over time (eg, motion, heat, fluid flow). Probability and Statistics: For analyzing data, reliability, and risks in engineering systems. Physics: Mechanics: Studying the forces and motion in solid bodies (statics and dynamics). Thermodynamics: Understanding energy systems, heat transfer, and the conversion of energy between mechanical forms. Fluid Mechanics: Focuses on the behavior of fluids (liquids and gases) in motion and at rest, which is essential for systems like pumps, engines, and turbines. Material Science: Exploring the properties of materials and how they behave under various conditions (stress, temperature, etc.). Statics and Dynamics: Statics: Study of forces in equilibrium, such as the forces on structures or machines that are not moving. Dynamics: Study of forces and motion in systems that are in motion, including vibrations, acceleration, and kinematics. Strength of Materials: Learning how materials respond to various forces, including stress, strain, bending, and torsion. This is essential for designing durable and safe structures and machines. Manufacturing Processes: Understanding different manufacturing techniques such as casting, welding, machining, 3D printing, and material forming. Concepts of production planning, quality control, and design for manufacturability. Control Systems: Study of systems that maintain desired outputs (eg, in robotics or automated systems). This includes understanding feedback loops and stability. Machine Design: Focus on designing mechanical components (gears, shafts, bearings) to perform specific tasks reliably and efficiently. Heat Transfer: Studying how heat moves through materials and fluids, which is critical for applications like engines, HVAC systems, and electronics cooling. Dynamics of Machinery: The study of moving mechanical components, their vibrations, and how to design them to minimize failure and wear. Computational Methods: Learning how to use software tools (like CAD, FEM, and CFD) for designing, simulating, and analyzing mechanical systems. Robotics and Automation: Study of robotic systems, automation in manufacturing, and how to integrate mechanical components with electronic control systems. Aerospace Engineering TU Delft - Selection Exam Preparation
The TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. With it being highly sought-after by students all around the globe, there is a highly competitive selection procedure which needs to be completed to get admitted to this popular degree. A massive part of this admission procedure is the selection exam, consisting of three different tests: Mathematics, Physics and First-Year Material. As a cum laude graduated Aerospace Engineer at TU Delft, who has also been tutoring since 2017, I have a lot of valuable experience and knowledge of the program to help you out with the right preparation to get in. Moreover, after having successfully helped two international students get a spot last year, I have decided to continue preparing an additional custom lesson plan for each student, with the admission syllabus as its basis. With my calm and stepwise explanation, weaker topics will be addressed and your solution procedures will be polished. Each lesson will either be theory, exercise-based or an opportunity to talk about the admission, what to expect from the study and whether it is a right fit for you.
