Teacher of Physics and Sciences and related fields

All our Physics students study the same core of fundamental physics and maths, based on Institute of Physics (IOP) 'core of physics' material. This includes classical mechanics, waves and fields, electromagnetism, special relativity, thermodynamics, quantum and atomic physics. By choosing the Physics BSc you will have access to the widest range of specialist options in each year.

As a physics student at Leicester you will acquire an appreciation of the scope and impact of modern physics and the use of mathematics, computing and experimentation to solve important real-world problems.

You will study the fundamental theories of physics, from classical mechanics, waves and fields, to relativity, atomic and particle physics. Through option courses and projects you will have the opportunity to explore the areas of physics linked to the School's world-leading research - such as planetary science, climate physics, nanotechnology, astrophysics, medical physics and space science.

About Me

P R O F I L E
Over the past years, I have taught a variety Physics courses, especially those related to Atmospheric and Environmental Physics. My primary research goals are directed toward the study of atmospheric and environmental problems, especially those related to the Air Pollution and Aerosol Research, Noise and Electromagnetic Pollution. I have obtained the PhD in 2012, with the main subject on Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences.
As a post-doctoral fellow, I have worked in multidisciplinary fields of research; from aerosol research to remote sensing methods related to atmospheric problems. My international experiences include the scholarships at several universities. Also, the flexibility and adaptivity to work in different environments and working in teams having good communication skills is part of my working abilities. Scientific thinking and presentation abilities are developed thanks to the research publication and conference participations.

Richard
tutoring in maths - mechanics - engineering sciences, helping students in writing their thesis and their report
Very competent student with more than 5 years of experience as an educational speaker in math, physics, mechanics and engineering science. I also support students writing end of study papers or end of internship reports. Holder of a bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences and Techniques, then a Mechanical and Production Engineer degree, I decided to pursue a specialized master's degree in Operational Management and Project Management. I also did an ATS preparatory class and I gave private lessons in math, physics, engineering and chemistry with the agency of private lessons for the second in terminal.

Amine
Private lessons in maths - physics - chemistry and engineering science
Young engineer graduated two weeks ago, very passionate about scientific subjects, and I love passing on this passion to the next generations. My scientific career in high school, my three-year course during the mathematical preparatory classes, and the three years spent in the engineering cycle: This course allowed me to have strong points such as the capacity for analysis, synthesis and communication, as well as considerable creativity in order to solve the problems encountered, without forgetting attendance, punctuality, good organization, and above all an exceptional ability to adapt!

Maths, physics and chemistry lessons
In 2014-2015, I did a preparatory Kiné class during Diderot, M ° République, so I can transmit the rigor of reasoning and writing. Serious, motivated, attentive and educator, I have all the qualities required to be a good tutor for your child. I have the skillful ability to teach math, physics, bio and chemistry in both middle and high school.

Célia
Tutoring and tutoring college / high school
School support for middle and high school students in all subjects. I suggest to your child to return to his class by explaining to him what he did not understand, and to accompany him to the realization of exercises, as well as to the preparation of the controls.

Mohamed
Professor expert teaching scientific subjects. I build with you your professional project over 3 to 10 years
For 11 years, I specialized in supporting adolescents and young adults in science subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry essentially). My vision is not short-termist; on the contrary. Indeed, I strive to give meaning to the schooling of each by helping to draw the contours of his future professional life. My performance is not purely academic and is not limited to the simple explanation of a course or an exercise. I seek to establish with my student a relationship of trust and a real complicity in order to help him to assert himself as a talented individual in a complex world in perpetual evolution. I push him to become competitive and to excel. I accompany him until the end of his schooling as a coach, counselor and confidant.

Reza
Tutor for Math, Physics, and Mechanical/Material Engineering courses
I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including: - Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics. - Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more. - Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc. - CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks. - Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA. My research and teaching interests are diverse, including: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
