I am excited to offer my new classes I recently developed while teaching in NYC at a children's music school. My initial approach will first be to understand the desires within my student (aka the artist) While I can teach beginner music theory, I do not believe this is necessary for one to write music. However, if the student would like to understand this, I can provide lessons on general theory. My primary intention is to identify the student's core strengths and use them to help them create the music that they wish to create. I have collaborated with artists like Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon's bass player) Itaal Shur (Multi-Grammy award winner and Composer of "Smooth" by Santana) and Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush's chief engineer)

Graduated from Nancy's Music Academy International, and the Paris CFPM, I offer private lessons for guitarists of all levels. Professor at the school La Maison des Sons (75002) and also a musician accompanist and studio, I evolve in various projects that allowed me to open the stage for artists such as Bertrand Cantat, Selah Sue, Peter Von Poehl, Girls in Hawaii, Uriah Heep ... Since 2020, I have been creating educational content for Guitar Part Magazine. I will run the course according to the student's wishes: Different style studies: Blues, Rock, soul, slide guitar, pop, Shred, Fusion, Folk, Funk, Jazz, World,... Depending on the level, we will discuss several techniques: bends, hammer, pull off, sweeping, tapping, alternate picking, legato, hybrid picking, economy picking, guitar behind the head, with the teeth ... Learning the pentatonic scale, major system, modes, harmonic and melodic minor scales, game 'out', exotic ranges, ... I do not impose music theory and deciphering, but if the student wishes, we can study these disciplines.

Hello! My name is George and I'm a fourth year student in jazz guitar at the Codarts conservatory here in Rotterdam, though my guitar journey began at the age of nine. I have been teaching a variety of students of different ages and backgrounds for the passed two years. My aim as a teacher is not to overwhelm students with theory and sight-reading. Instead, I prefer to teach you practical ways to develop your own musical interests. If you are beginner struggling to achieve clear,clean notes or play a full song in tempo I can show you the most effective way to achieve rapid results. If you are passed the beginner stage I can help you with my specialised knowledge in jazz, pop, blues and rock. If you are compitent up to a certain level but can't move out of your comfort zone I can help you move onwards and upwards.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.
