Learn English language and American culture

Student in M1 Public Law at the University of Paris-II, I completed part of my studies abroad including my third year in Japan and a final year in the United States. I give conversation classes and homework help classes in English. The courses are mainly intended for students with a beginner or intermediate level. Depending on the needs indicated before the session, I can adapt to all requests and create tailor-made courses in listening comprehension, reading comprehension and oral and written expression. For conversation classes, the goal is to help you express yourself both on a given subject and in everyday life. Classes can be done alone with me or in a group. For homework help, I mainly offer help for school levels up to the bachelor's degree. Having completed part of my law studies abroad, I also offer more specific courses on law subjects studied in English.

I am bilingual in English and French, and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I offer English conversation sessions tailored to your preferences and needs, whether in person or remotely. In addition to that, I obtained a master's degree and studied music. I have solid teaching experience, having taught harp to various audiences for several years. I am also available to provide academic support.

Mathematics is a very important subject in the schools and even in the universities. As a math-major student, I have a good knowledge of math. I could offer courses for students preparing for exams in the schools, or possibly the math olympiads. I would also be happy to give more advanced courses for students who want to know more about modern mathematics, which might also be useful for high school or college-entrance exams.

I have 15 years of experience teaching IB, MYP, Key Stage 3, A-Level, IGCSE Language and Literature, and World Literature. I have taught in multiple countries worldwide. My expertise lies in exam preparation, but I also teach English as an Additional Language and work with younger students. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context. For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot. For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand).
