When I teach, I always remember my own experience, I know how difficult it can be to play the violin or progress in singing. My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I always cater to the needs and interests of my students, creating an individualized lesson plan for them. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. When teaching composition - I enjoy discovering the creativity of each student, helping them find their individual voice. I can teach Dorico Notation Software, Adobe Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and Ableton. I currently teach students internationally, and can accomodate other time zones. I specialize in making Violin playing at the highest levels. Special focus includes how to play the violin with ease, without any discomfort over a lifetime. I play Baroque violin, use historically-informed approach to Early music, and all periods of music history, including contemporary practices.

I offer a flexible approach to each student, depending on their level and artistic pursuits. The goal is to guide the student's progress in the musical genres they are interested in exploring (classical repertoire, tango, folklore, pop, etc.), always keeping in mind technical improvement and the development of a musical sense that allows them to express themselves freely when playing.

Dear students, My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich. During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin.
