I am a London based music educator, working for many Music Hubs and Institutions across the city. My teaching experience is broad and deep: brass instruments, theory, music production, arranging and more; from primary schools to university lecturing. I also offer private lessons in my studio in Camden or online.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

I am a professional trumpet player graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam.I have 21 years of experience in playing trumpet, and 12 years of teaching experience. First of all during our lessons I want to help you to achieve your goals and ambitions in music.Based on it I’ll do my best in order to make the most effective program for you.Also most of my lessons will contain aspects of the basic trumpet techniques,development of the jazz improvisation skills or classical solo pieces,and basic music theory. Hi, I'm Justine, I just finished my bachelor's degree at the Brussels Conservatory and I'm starting a training in pedagogy next year. I can teach beginners and intermediate players in cornet, trumpet or bugle. I am quite flexible in the methods used, there are always plenty of ways to help you progress. Dorian is a seasoned trumpet teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BM in Music Education, MM in Trumpet Performance, worked 5 years as a Music Director and lead trumpet player on Carnival Cruise lines and has continued freelance trumpet lifestyle. He now teaches trumpet online and from his home studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is also the owner of Triplo Press, one of the world’s largest publishing companies of trumpet ensemble music. In addition, he runs trumpet clinics for schools, where he teaches students how to improve their sound, endurance, jazz skills, ensemble playing, and trumpet ensemble creation. Some of his former students have been accepted to prestigious music schools such as University of North Texas, Oberlin, and Ithaca.

My teaching method is as follows without the instrument: Awareness of the breath, placement of the mask (lips, tongue, palate, throat), body position. With the instrument: The air column, the position of the mouthpiece, the work and the position of the tongue. How to be enduring on the trumpet and get tired as little as possible. For the advanced: work on the treble, the brass section, precision, Cat Anderson's whisper g, the choice of mouthpieces, the piccolo trumpet. There are also balms to relax the facial muscles, flush out lactic acid, oxygenate the blood and reduce swelling. Subsequently or for the students who play correctly, we will work on the classic program of the technique with French and American methods, work of improvisation and decryption.

I am classically trained musician with a Diploma in Trumpet Teaching and over 20 years of music experience, including symphony orchestras, wind and jazz bands.

The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time. The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs. All offered classes are available for students of every age and level, the only thing you need is to make the first step by signing in and we will make a plan together after we have met.

The arts are vital for development and self expression. As children we learn, play and communicate with songs and rhymes, as we get older our music taste can often help in defining and finding out more about ourselves. There are also studies showing that learning an instrument can aid communication skills, maturity and keep the brain functioning into older age. In my lessons I aim to teach instruments to anyone who is interested in exams, playing for fun or if they want to learn another skill for it’s mental benefits. I have a grade 8 in trumpet, singing and organ and i have experience playing in a variety of different ensembles and genres. I have also taught many people theory, instruments and exam techniques for music. If you’re interested in any of the instruments I offer lessons but are hesitant to start. I urge you to give it a go.

Prior to moving to The Hague, I spent five years teaching group and private lessons for a variety of arts education organizations in Philadelphia (USA). In each space, I create safe and fun learning environments for students by maintaining a consistently supportive demeanor and by using positive reinforcement to encourage student behavior and growth. I’m patient, and empathetic, and maintain a firm belief in all students’ capacity for improvement and success. In the lessons, we will focus on creating a beautiful, efficient, and flexible sound through various exercises and musical pieces. I will facilitate exploration that leads students to learn about effective learning habits and to be able to self-identify what they can do to improve. Caleb –––––––– A bit about me: Originally from Indiana (USA), I have performed professionally with the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, with organist Clara Gerdes at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and with members of the American Brass Quintet at the Aspen Music Festival. As a baroque trumpeter, I have performed with The Sebastians, the Philadelphia Bach Collegium, with members of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, and with the Jeune Orchestre de l’Abbaye and Philippe Herreweghe at the Festival de Saintes. While attending Curtis Institute of Music, my colleagues and I won first prize at the National Trumpet Competition (USA) in the trumpet ensemble division. As a passionate advocate for music education and arts access, I served as an ArtistYear fellow, teaching sixty-five recorder students at Powel Elementary School in Philadelphia during the 2016-17 school year. I have also served as a teaching artist for Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Philadelphia’s Play on Philly. As a founding member of The Brass Project from 2016-2018, I premiered over thirty new works written for the ensemble. During this time The Brass Project was featured by Santa Fe Pro Musica, at National Sawdust, and at Music from Angel Fire. Our debut album, “Cityscaping,” was released in December 2018. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in baroque trumpet at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. I earned an Artist Diploma at the Curtis Institute of Music, and a bachelor’s degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.

I am a professional trumpet player with vast experience in the jazz and commercial fields. I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Codarts (University of Arts in Rotterdam). I also studied classical trumpet for three years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have experience teaching at the conservatory (Codarts), music school (BplusC Muziekschool Leiden) and privately in the Netherlands and Belgium. I have played with some of the Netherlands most prestigious big bands and jazz groups.
