I will provide various exercises depending on your level to help you improve. Musical Development: We will explore different pieces together, and I encourage you to share any specific pieces you wish to work on. I studied for my bachelor's degree in Spain and I am a recent master's graduate from Codarts University of the Arts. I have more than 6 years of teaching experience. I have taught both advanced and beginner levels. My main goal when I am teaching is that my students have a good time learning or improving their flute playing. I am currently working as an orchestral and chamber musician. I work with orchestras around the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. I also have been receive lessons from important flutists where I have learned particularities and different forms of interpretation which has helped me to focus my lessons and has also helped me to improve and to appreciate music from a different perspective. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun!
