Lessons Dutch for Russian speakers by a native speaker!

Hola! Would you like to learn Spanish in an interactive way with a focus on speaking? Do you love Latin American culture as much as I do? Say no more! We first look at where you are now and what you would like to achieve and I adjust my lesson based on that. Having lived in Ecuador, I know all too well how important it is to be truly immersed in a language. That's why I think practice is very important: talking about your interests! Because... one learns by doing :D Not: pure theory and rules while sitting down Do: theory and practice - we chat a lot and get to work with photos, music, cooking, etc... The lessons are standard at my home in Ghent Center (negotiable in Aalter). Due to training, I will not be available one Thursday and Friday per month until January '25. I offer basic Dutch to Thai people with little or no knowledge. I speak thai, Dutch and English fluently. Suitable for people who have just moved to Belgium and want to learn Dutch (Flemish) or children who want tutoring to understand Dutch faster.

I have an internet site with lots of interactive materials for learning foreign languages including educational games. I also send pdf files with useful grammar and words. I implement effective learning strategies in my lessons to help students concentrate on particular points of grammar and vocabulary. Even absolute beginners start making their own simple sentences. After a while their sentences get more complicated. The process may look like this: 1. They read. 2. They read books. 3. They read books every day. 4. They read interesting books every day. 5. They read interesting books every day when they come from work. 6. They read interesting books every day when they come from work unless they are tired. 7. They read interesting books every day when they come from work unless they are very tired. etc. (Of course, these sentences will be in Russian. ) I make worksheets which guide students to speak about particular topics. During the lessons my students and I may also read interesting texts in the internet, analyze their grammar structures, vocabulary and even discuss them. I always correct my students' mistakes when they speak or write. Russian grammar can be complicated sometimes, but if you know it well, you will not make critical mistakes. Correcting pronunciation mistakes is also very important.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
