Russian language course beginner or elementary level

Student offers Russian classes for all levels. The Russian language is my mother tongue which allows me to explain all the slightest nuances. I give the homework regularly and all the necessary materials for the lessons.

These lessons are specially designed for people who have no or very limited knowledge of Russian. The lessons are very practically designed so that you memorise the vocabulary easily and quickly. These lessons are designed for all ages and the approach is always very individual. It is very important to me that the student is motivated and enjoying the lessons. For children this is learning through play, for adults more conversational exercises where you have the complete freedom to make mistakes and learn from them with my guidance. The lessons can be scheduled flexibly.

Russian is one of the world's (global) languages. Russian's status has been consolidated in the United Nations, where Russian is one of the six official international languages. If you want to learn this language, immerse yourself in Russian culture, or study Russian literature, then welcome to my classes! I'll be happy to be your guide. In my classes, I try to use communication techniques and to give a lot of tasks to practice speech, so that students can communicate easily and freely. In addition, I always give homework on the topic covered in the lesson. For each student, I create a Google document that contains all the important information of each lesson.

The Russian language proves to be very challenging for all speakers - even for those born in Russia. However, I have excellent knowledge of the normative literary Russian language thanks to my philological and pedagogical academic training. The major linguistic pair I work with is Russian - English . Although it becomes helpful for the students when I also incorporate references to French or Dutch when needed. As an experienced private tutor and university teacher who understands the struggles of her students, I'm able to find a personal approach to each of them. Our linguistic classes will be enriched with background information about Russia, its history and culture, so that you become even more motivated to master this rich but complicated language. Hi, My name is Katarina Viktoria and I am a multi-cultured music student. I was born in Latvia to a Ukrainian/Russian mother and a Swedish father. At the age of 3 we moved to Switzerland where I grew up in a German and Swiss German environment and these two languages became native to me. During my life in Switzerland we moved to the US for a year where I learned English and went to primary school. Later in life I moved to the Netherlands to study Classical Voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I grew up in a big family with lots of kids (I have 9 siblings), I know how to communicate with kids of various ages and how to teach them in a playful matter. I love cpommunicating with people, which is also the base of my classes. How I build up my classes always depends on my student’s wishes, whether it’s the wish to improve their communication skills or to work on their grammar. I try to make my lessons as interesting as possible, using different exercises to playfully learn the language. I always aim for variations, we speak, we write, we read and we listen. I can also give homework and correct it, if that’s what the student wants. If the wish is only to communicate and to improve the pronounciation, that’s also fine by me. I love helping and supporting people in becoming their best version, so whatever makes you happy makes me happy :) I love seeing my students improve, it motivates me to go on and support them in their language skills even more!
