Almost all music today is made using computers—whether it's composed, recorded, or edited with music software. It has never been easier to create music yourself, requiring very little equipment or prior experience. I offer classes for all skill levels, from beginners who want to learn the basics and get to grips with music-making software, to experienced artists and producers looking to refine their skill set and make their music sound unique and professional. I have worked with artists across a wide range of genres, backgrounds, and ages. Through this experience, I’ve found that the common goal and joy in music is honest self-expression, something I pride myself on encouraging and facilitating, no matter your level of experience or confidence. The structure and timeline of the classes are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. For beginners, I typically recommend starting with an hour-long session once a week for ten weeks. The goal would be to finish at least two songs or pieces of music by the end of the course. Classes can be conducted in person or online. I am a classically trained musician. I was a chorister at Cambridge's King's College Choir as a child and received a music scholarship to one of the UK’s top secondary schools, where I studied trumpet, piano, viola, singing, and composition. It was there that I discovered my passion for music production on computers. I also achieved top grades in Music Technology and offer tutoring for Music Technology exams at both GCSE and A-Level. I then went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, specializing in Electronic and Produced Music, where I graduated with a first-class degree. My studies included modules in popular music production, songwriting, film music composition, acousmatic music, and orchestration, among others. Since then, I have been working with the charity Key Changes, where I visit psychiatric hospitals and forensic wards to collaborate with patients on music production and songwriting. A large part of this work involves creating instrumentals for rappers, which allowed me to learn how to produce drill and trap music. I’ve also run music production workshops for children aged 8-16 and provided individual tutoring to many young learners. I have an enhanced DBS check and extensive experience working with children aged 4 and up, including students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. After falling in love with jazz and improvisation when he was nineteen, he attended Lecce State Conservatory on a full jazz scholarship in 2011. Silvio specializes in many styles of piano and has received numerous prizes at national piano competitions. In addition to being a musician, Silvio has expertise in business. He graduated with first class honours (110/110 cum laude) in Economics and Finance from the University of Salento in 2013. His album “Flowing” is the result of a prize in the music competition "Giuseppe Tricarico" (May 2016 - Gallipoli, Italy) which he won and which allowed him to produce this record. It was released in December 2018. In September 2018 Silvio had the chance to lead workshops about jazz music in Santo Domingo at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, National Conservatory of Music and Academia de Música de Patricia Logroño. In June 2019 he was one of the Top Prize winners at the International Online Quebec Music Competition (Montreal, Canada), where he played his own composition called “Latin Jazz Etude – Una Noche en el Barrio”, and in July 2019 he won the First Place at the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition (Summer Edition). Since December 2018 he has been collaborating as sheet music arranger with a US-based website, the world's leading digital sheet music retailer. Silvio is also a music teacher with many years of experience, whose students range in age from 5 to 60 plus. He encourages music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. In 2019 he attended music pedadogy courses at the Conservatory of Lecce. In the past year, Isaac has received Masterclasses from world-leading musicians such as Yehuda Gilad, Laura Ruiz Ferreres, Matthew Hunt, Carlos Ferriera and Harri Mäki. His recent festival highlights include performances with Maya Iwabuchi and Robin Green at the Hellensmusic Festival, taking part in Amsterdam and Främnas Masterclasses with Arno Piters and Herman Stefansson respectively, and the Voksenåsen Sommerakademi with Bjorn Nyman and Andreas Sundén. In 2020, Isaac was invited to take part in the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lübeck, which was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Isaac has performed recently as guest principal, sub-principal and bass clarinet with London Mozart Players, Neville Holt Opera, English Symphony Orchestra, London Firebird Orchestra and UK Tours with The Music Agency. He has performed in concerts and masterclasses under the conductors such as Sir Andrew Davis, Maxim Vengerov, Hannu Lintu, Jac van Steen, George Jackson and Leif Segerstam. Isaac graduated first-class honours from RWCMD in 2021 under the tutelage of the previous and current heads of woodwind Nick Carpenter and Rob Plane, respectively. Alongside winning the college Concerto Competition, Isaac also won the RWCMD Woodwind + Chamber Music Prize and auditions for side-by-side schemes with BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera. Also a passionate arranger, Isaac has recently had his work performed at Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) Young Creatives Projects, Durham University Big Band Charity Events, Dynamica Brass Academy, RWCMD Repertory by Entrepreneurial Performers Company (REPCo) and the Ormonde Ensemble, a wind quintet of which Isaac is a member. Isaac is currently furthering his studies with a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music, London, studying with Barnaby Robson, Richard Hosford and Tim Lines. He is the gracious recipient of scholarships from the HR Taylor Charitable Trust and Charlotte Fraser Foundation. He is also the 2022/23 holder of the Countess of Munster Trust Neil Black Award.
