I suggest you improve your saxophone and music practice by focusing on learning melody by ear and developing improvisation. As for instrumental technique, I can teach you how to place your fingers properly to develop your virtuosity, to have a tonic air column and a good embouchure to develop your sound and to work on articulation to improve your phrasing. All this is acquired little by little by playing specific exercises and solos, pieces or saxophone studies. Through learning the instrument I also suggest you develop your musical qualities which are essential to progress and have fun playing. By learning and memorizing melodies or solos by ear, you develop your ear, your sense of rhythm and your memory. Free improvisation allows you to develop your inner singing and your musical personality. Finally, working with a metronome or directly on recordings will help you improve your rhythmic ear. Germán is a great teacher and also fun to work with. He first carefully diagnoses strengths and weaknesses and then designs tailored exercises around the learning needs and gives concrete feedback and shares vocabulary tips. If you search someone to better understand homework/grammar exercises or someone for stand-alone private classes, German is your guy for both. He can explain grammar or improve conversational skills.
