She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well) She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary. Hallo allemaal! My name is Mar and I am a 26-year-old professional pianist (with pedagogical training) graduated from the master degree in Classical Piano Performance as soloist at the Utrecht Conservatory, now studying a second master in Piano Performance in Rotterdam, Codarts. I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. I recently enrolled my daughter (Dutch native) in English lessons with this teacher and I must say, the experience has been fantastic. My daughter has learned so much in the past few weeks and it's all thanks to the teacher's fun and engaging approach to teaching. The lessons are always interactive and my daughter loves them. She looks forward to her English class every week and I can see a noticeable improvement in her language skills. The teacher has a talent for making the lessons enjoyable and my daughter has a great time while learning. We are expats that moved to the Netherlands a couple of years ago. Our kids were 6 and 9 when we got in touch with Hetty at the beginning of this year. Hetty worked amazingly at their level and using their interests to build up their confidence in speaking Dutch. I have seen a tremendous improvement in their Dutch within 4-5 months. I would happily recommend Hetty to students with even just a basic knowledge of the language. Had we not moved cities, I would’ve used her services to improve my own language ability!
