About Me
Education
Bachelor Degree in Piano performance from Buchman- Mehta school of musicMaster's Degree in piano performance from Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Amsterdamse hogeschool voor de kunsten.
Ph.D. in the arts (artistic research) candidate at the University of Antwerp, in cooperation with the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp and Orpheus Institute in Ghent.
Experience / Qualifications

Fun and Efficient!Holding a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, I nurture your child's talent and polish your piano skills effectively. Most importantly, my lessons are fun! As both a pianist and composer, I can help you not only develop your pianist skills but also gain a comprehensive understanding from the composer's perspective.
Here are things I can do for you 😉
1. Set up your learning plan with a well-constructed syllabus to achieve your short-term/long-term piano goals, including a one-time coaching lesson.
2. Polish up your piano skills.
3. Develop a 360-degree understanding of music and examine works from the perspectives of a Pianist, a composer, and an interpreter.
4. Help you with basic music theory, harmony and counterpoint, form analysis, ear training, Piano literature, and music history.
5. Expand your piano repertoire.
6. Design an efficient Piano practice method that suits you.
7. Complimentary unique music pieces/ arrangements tailored to suit your music level. 🎁
As for the little ones, everything above will be taught with a very fun, engaging teaching method. ✨
I enjoy teaching music and customizing music works tailored to suit students' needs. For the little ones, I also use my method book "The Enchanted Bells: Marco Piccolo's Musical Adventure," which is now available in most major online bookstores worldwide. Students of all ages are welcome, and the subjects range from piano playing to music Theory, Harmony, Counterpoint, Ear Training, Form and Analysis, as well as Music Appreciation.
As a composer, I enjoy using unique harmonies to create a distinct 'April Color.' The style varies from classical to jazz, and my compositions are now available to stream on all major platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc.)

Piano lessons: What about learning how to play the piano?Piano is the instrument used by the romantics to make their most beautiful music, but also by the most experimental and modern composers to create their craziest music wonders. Isn't it a great instrument to play?
With more than 5 years of experience teaching in music schools and 15 years as a private piano teacher, I developed an efficient and "fun-but-efficient" way to teach how to play the instrument. Every student is different, which means the way to play and learn shall be different, making every single lesson special and rewarding.
I also offer the possibility of teaching in groups: if you want to know more about this option.
Hope to see you soon in our class!

Jazz/pop/groove/songwriting piano lessons for all levels of skill and all ages by ex-conservatory student!I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. Having played in many pop and jazz (big) bands and creating daily compositions for solo piano and bands, I've developed an enthusiasm for these genres that I love to impart to my students. In recent years, I've also been heavily involved in music production, and lessons in this direction are also possible!
I often use theory as a background to contextualize the songs we practice (which are often chosen by the student themselves). I use these songs to convey improvisation and composition skills. Additionally, I believe it's important for the student to develop their own way of learning. I strive to create a free yet disciplined learning environment.

Piano lessons, from pop music to light classical musicFrom 8 to 80, everyone can learn to play the piano. Teaching with pop music and all kinds of styles between jazz and classical music. Individual lessons of an hour or half an hour. The intention is that a pupil also learns to study and gain insight into the musical structures (simple).

MONTESSORI APPROACH TO TRANSVERSE FLUTE AND MUSIC THEORYWould you like to learn the transverse flute with a new method?
This class is inspired to the Abreu method, the musical version of the Montessori teaching approach.
During the last 2 years, I have applied the Abreu method to countless scholars, with ages ranging from 8 to 70.
Results have been amazing and I really hope you can be the next!
Here's what makes it special:
- A playful approach! While learning the rules and the discipline behind music, we will boost your progress with a lot of fun. Thanks to the Abreu approach, we can master your solfeggio and play classical tracks at the same time.
- Teaching materials suitable for scholars of every level. Through many years of experience, I have collected an extremely wide range of sheets and exercises.
- During the first lesson, we schedule our work in mini-courses. This way you know exactly how much you will pay and in return for what.
- Everyone has potential and I am here to let you express it.

Guitar lessons for Complete Beginners & Intermediate levelsHi I'm Daniel, an enthusiastic and dedicated guitar teacher who loves meeting his students' own goals. By combining my 6 years of experience in teaching guitar with my students' own interests, I help my students make progress in the most engaging way possible.
I provide my students with a grounding in the basics of technique and theory to make sure they develop good habits, enabling them to make use of the near-infinite resources online when they want to play and learn more in their free time and later in life. I believe a good teacher is one who makes their students able to go on independently and with joy and passion for their instrument.
Learn your favourite songs, demystify music theory, learn how songs are written (and get help writing your own), learn to play songs by ear, explore a range of genres... I look forward to helping you with your own musical journey!

Violin Lessons in Amsterdam through the Suzuki MethodPrivate Violin lessons in Amsterdam, with a specific focus on the "Suzuki Talent Education".
I teach children from ages 4 up to the conservatory level. My main teaching approach is based on the principles of the Suzuki Method. The lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, including game-like exercises and space to be creative and have fun!. I also teach adults who play the violin as a hobby.
What is the Suzuki Method?
Developed by Shin'ichi Suzuki, a Japanese violinist, and pedagogue who was one of the most influential ones of the 20th century. Through a life-long process of experiences, research and evolution, S.Suzuki created the "Mother Tongue Method" based on the observation that all children learn to speak their native language with ease through listening and repetition. He believed that since very young children could master the complexity of their native language, they could also master playing the violin.
The Suzuki Method not only contributes to the development of the musical abilities in children but it is also a great and powerful influence on a child's growth as a human being and their social values, sensitivity, discipline and love for life.
“Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited." S.Suzuki.

Singing lessons in different styles: Classical, Jazz, Pop!My teaching method meets the student's needs. Above all, I try to make people keep their passion and taste for music and my main goal is to make music or art a pleasure and not a sacrifice.
I motivate students, showing them the benefits of exploring their unique talents, but also not hiding the need for continuous work and with some obstacles, sometimes difficult, to overcome.
I let the students bring their own musical choices and, over time, I also recommend material that I think may be useful for a faster, simpler, and more efficient evolution.
As I said, I focus on the pleasure of singing but also on the technique that allows us to achieve the best results with less effort.
I hope that my way of teaching will work with you, but we always have to adapt to the needs and personalities of each one.
Come and try it!

Private lessons flute - music theory - theoryI am 21 years old and I am currently a flute student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I finished my studies in conservatories in France and obtained a license in music and musicology at the Sorbonne (Paris IV).
I offer personalized lessons meeting the desires and ambitions of everyone, from the simple beginner to the confirmed musician.
For the flute lessons, I offer exercises for sound, technique, adapted pieces. During music theory lessons, I can give tips for learning to read keys, rhythms, and offer dictations. Studying the theory allows you to learn to recognize chords, to calculate a score, to analyze the structure of a piece, to recognize the style from musical elements.
It is possible to combine several lessons, for example half an hour of flute then a quarter of an hour of music theory.

Classical Piano e compositions classes, learn how to play and have fun with musicMy name is Paolo, I’m an Italian pianist and composer. My musical life started when I was 9, moved by a bit of curiosity I put on a classical music CD, the speakers played Chopin’s 1st Ballade and that was the first time I had goose bumps listening to a music piece. This experience was so strong that I wanted to recreate that feeling, so I started to study piano.
The instrument is really good for a first approach to the music; after a little while, with lessons and practice, it’s possibile to play a very simple composition with a great satisfaction.
Through out the years I faced many obstacles, especially technical difficulties. I had great teachers who helped me to know and understand the instrument, they also taught me to love the music I was playing without shame for mistakes. Like in sports you need to train yourself, learn movements and adjust coordination, but it’s also very important to love what you are doing and be passionate about it. This is what you will learn with me, in a friendly and relaxed environment.
I studied in Brescia, Milano and Amsterdam. My main fields were piano, chamber music and composition. I have taught piano and music theory during my time in Italy, currently I perform mainly in The Netherlands.
