Taught by Niketha, a Computer Science undergraduate from the University of Florida (Presidential honor roll, Summa cum laude) - this class offers comprehensive instruction in mathematics. I am interested in distilling difficult concepts through abstraction and my teaching methodology is to focus on strengthening skills in foundational topics through conceptual understanding and applied problem solving (through exercises). Math instruction ranges from algebra and precalculus to advanced topics like collegiate level real analysis (Analysis 1 & 2). I have previously tutored A level mathematics students (facilitated grade jump from C to A).

I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice. I have a USA teaching license and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Inclusive Education (Grades K-6 and Students with Disabilities) from the State University of New York at Fredonia. My experiences include teaching at primary international schools in Belgrade, Serbia for 2 years and 3 years at international schools in The Hague, Netherlands. Latin was popular a thousand years ago, French - a couple centuries ago, English is the language of the 21st century! We'll work on Speaking and Writing skills, and, of course, Grammar. For advanced learners I fancy such books as Destination and Grammar in Use (we won't be restrained by just these, though). With beginners we'll be maintaining a decent active vocabulary. In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach.
