I offer individual piano lessons for children and adults in German, English or Spanish. Beginners and advanced learners are very welcome! I studied piano at the Rosario Music School (Argentina). I later completed a Masters in Music Composition at the University of Birmingham (UK). For 15 years I have been working as a piano teacher for children and adults at the Musikzimmer Music School in Berlin. The lessons take place in Berlin-Friedrichschain (near Boxhagenerplatz). Possibly the lessons can also take place in the music school. Home visit possible, for an extra charge. Online lessons also possible.

Throughout the years I have developed piano skills with which I can play all sorts of compositions by ear as well as improvise variations based on the main structure of a piece. In this course I will show you the practical and theoretical basics to improvise as well as learn pieces on the piano without note sheets. It will not be a "classical music lesson" although I will reference classical music and talk about music theory, music history and the physics of sound a lot. It won't have a "syllabus" either on the basis that every person needs different sets of skills to improve upon. It will be more of a discussion/dialogue accompanying the piano where we will expand on our ideas about music. Since 2013 he is the founder and the artistic director of the Carloforte Music Festival since 2013, where he has been collaborating with fine soloists such as Anna Tifu, Paoletta Marrocu, Enkelejda Shkosa, Eric Silberger, Romeo Scaccia, Fabio Furia and Alice Lestang. In 2014, was invited by Lorin Maazel to participate as Associate Conductor at the Castleton Festival. Andrea has already performed in the major european concert halls including Berliner Philharmonie and Palais de Beaux Arts in Bruxelles. He conducted the Berliner Camerata, the Orchestre Regional de Cannes, the Berlin Sinfonietta, SymphoniaASSAI, the Ensemble Orchestral de Valencia, the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Cagliari, the Ruse Philharmonic, the Moldavian National Orchestra, the Jenaer Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Andrea graduated with top marks in piano and orchestral conducting from the Conservatorio P. da Palestrina in Cagliari, the Ecole Normale A. Cortot in Paris, and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Ronald Zollman, Jorma Panula, Dominique Rouits, Mikail Jurowsky, Nicolas Pasquet, Jorge Rotter, Giancarlo Andretta, Georg Christoph Sandmann, Wolfgang Doerner and George Pehlivanian. Prize winner in several international piano competitions, he was awarded a five years’ full scholarship offered by the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, and he is supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna.

HI everyone! I am offering classical piano lessons for any age and level. My approach is relaxed but focused on improving your playing in the fastest way possible, depending on your individual wishes and strengths. A little bit about me: I come from Croatia, where I graduated in piano performance and pedagogy. After that I did another Master in piano performance at Hochschule fur Musik FHNW Basel, and right now I am doing the Specialised master for soloists at the same institution. (That's a lot of masters, I know). However, I live in Berlin and will be happy to guide you on your musical path. Right now I still don't have a piano at my place, so lessons can be at your place or in the Piano rooms in Friedrichstrasse.

I studied in San Sebastian, where I obtained my Bachelor at Musikene music conservatoire in 2016. Previously I obtained a Modern Singdiplom at the Music School Musica Creativa and a Musical Diplom at the Centro Superior de Artes Escénicas in Madrid. Today, I am an active musician and next to concerts, I offer private lessons in different schools and at home. One of the schools, where I worked to get experience is the German School in Madrid. I also edited my first modern jazz album called Blue Tree. From October 2018 on I will offer the following lessons in Berlin: 1. Jazz-Pop-Soul singing lessons 2. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. I am a classical pianist, holding two Master's degrees from the Royal Academy of Music - Postgraduate Certificate in Performance (UK, London, 2015), and Guildhall School of Music and Drama - Master of Performance, advanced instrumental studies: Piano (UK, London, 2019). During studies, I took part in masterclasses with world-renowned teachers and pianists, including Ian Fountain, Colin Stone, and Simon Trpceski. I did solo recitals in Russia, Switzerland, and the UK. I also won the internal piano competition Romantic Piano Prize, which was held at Guildhall School of Music.
