Maths is a core subject essential for most things in the future. At GCSE, there are 3 Maths paper (2 calculator and 1 non-calculator). I will help people struggling with Maths GCSE preparation. As someone who achieved consistent grade 9 in Maths throughout the GCSE period, I will endeavour to raise the grade of my students so they can achieve high grades.

I can provide English, History and Religious Studies lessons for the following ages: primary school and secondary school education. I can do 2 lessons per student each week at an affordable rate and provide high quality ready made training packs for students to help revise. These training packs require no additional cost.

English Literature is an essential skill used for English gcse which I have spent a lot of detail looking in to and I - myself changed my own gcse grades drastically using a lot of time and grade specific research. I specialise very confidently in Macbeth, an Inspector calls and Christmas Carol, however research for other topics will be covered in detail before we begin sessions. I intend on supporting my students with mindmaps, pushing them to explore deeper meanings which the examiner may have not heard and also grading exam answers. I want to make this as affordable as I can as I myself was once in this position and any student is capable of drastically changing their grade. I am very passionate about this subject and want other people to see the joy in it too. We can also cover love and relations poetry or war/conflict. Sociology is another subject I’m extremely passionate about and genuinely enjoy, I intend on going through exam papers and making mind maps and analysis on key sociologist and theories. I studied family, research methods and crime at gcse and (currently) second year on sociology A level studying education, family and households and crime this year. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
