I went to high school in Paris, and I obtained my Baccalaureate with honors. I did my Bachelor's and Master's in Life Sciences Engineering at EPFL and I spent 6 months at Harvard. Tutoring for International Baccalaureate (IB) Maths AA HL/SL, Chemistry HL/SL, Physics HL/SL and for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) International Mathematics (0607), Additional Mathematics (0606), Physics (0625) Chemistry (0620). I aim to make sure students understand material intuitively first before delving into complicated questions and foster a friendly and patient learning environment. Instead of relying on memorising formulas, I teach students how to derive the formulas themselves, build upon their previous knowledge and use them to solve complex questions in a simple way, building their confidence in the process. To facilitate this, I use metaphors and every-day things to construct stories that help students remember concepts and relationships between them. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, preferences and learning style so I am able to accommodate specific requests. I can help students work on improving both overall understanding of the subject as well as detailed and thorough understanding of specific topics/sub-topics. As someone who sat these exams myself, I know what the most common mistakes in each topic are, the best exam techniques and have lots of tips, tricks and resources I can share! I offer flexible scheduling, with availability during the day, early mornings, and late evenings for lessons online or in-person lessons near South Kensington. We will work on your understanding of the most important concepts by doing practice exercises. We will start with the easiest ones and we will gradually increase the difficulty as you progress. Additionally, we will do lots of past papers, especially if you want to prepare for a specific examination. We are going to keep track of your level and mark your improvements session by session. During our sessions, we can focus on different areas of Maths according to your needs, from Algebra and Calculus to Statistics and Probability. Additionally, we can work on exam taking techniques such as Time Management and how to practice effectively for an exam. I am excited to tutor other people that want to learn Maths, because I get to share my passion for the subject while making a positive impact. I teach GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Review all the topics, solve topic questions and practice with past papers again and again. I tutor Mathematics at GCSE, A-level, BSc and MSc level. A bit about me and why I would love to be your tutor in mathematics! I am currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at University College London, where my research focuses on applying AI to enhance energy efficiency in the built environment. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. I also completed an MSc in Statistics and an MSc in Applied Biotechnology and Biosciences, both from Imperial College London, with Merit. My other academic achievements include A* A* A grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Biology A-Levels, along with 12 A* grades at GCSE in various subjects, including FSMQ Mathematics, and OCR Additional Mathematics. I also achieved a Merit in Advanced Extension Award Mathematics (AEA). In terms of tutoring, I have some experience tutoring GCSE Sciences and Mathematics, as well as A-level Biology and A-level Mathematics. Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Postgraduate teaching assistant at UCL. As part of this training, I actively teach several lectures and workshops each week in mathematics and computer science at MSc and BSc levels. Additionally, I offer career coaching for individuals seeking finance-related internships and preparing for interviews.

In my classes the students will be a part of an interactive session of solving time-sensitive short questions as a brainstorming exercise, proceeding with covering topics from the start of the syllabus, solving questions as we move on and understanding the difficult level that the student is easily able to pass. This will be followed by recognising the topics that the student is finding difficult and then explaining them through short lectures and diagrams, helping the student have a better grasp at the concepts. I will ensure constant feedback after each of my classes to understand the students problems and tailoring my lessons according to that. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure. 3rd Year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture.
