Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the student's musical tastes and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style. My approach consists of giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback! I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. This class is both for people without any prior knowledge of music production and sound engineering and for people who wish to improve their skills. You will learn how to use computer software for RECORDING, COMPOSING, MIXING and MASTERING songs. You will also learn microphone techniques for recording acoustic instruments and voice. With this knowledge you will be able to produce music in all genres: pop, hip hop, rock, EDM, etc.

Making your own music is a very personal practice that demands attention and care. It is comforting to learn the craft and to know what to focus on now and what to deal later in the process. This way you can let your creativity lead the way and take care of the technical details after on. With this course, you'll learn the KNOW-HOW of making your own music from start to finish. We will go through; inspiration, composing, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and release. You will understand the conceptual frame and the technical craft behind them. In no time you will start applying them to your own workflow as well, no matter what genre you are interested in, electronic, pop, jazz, indie, experimental, classical, and so on. I try to make sure all my students leave the class with a new idea, a fascination, or a new question in their minds about whatever they want to do but most importantly with a smile. The music gathers people, and so is making it. That's why the lessons can flow into a conversation, a joke, a listening discussion, and a feedback session in which we become not only a teacher and a student but hopefully also friends. In this lessons we will work on Irish tunes alongside how to play your whistle, good posture and breathing technique. Irish music gives a great joy, it's rhythmical and flowing :) we will work on both playing by ear, but also reading the sheet music so you can always easily learn and play new tunes.

I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

In this class, you will learn: - how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques. - how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music. - how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques. - how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition. - about the theory and practice of free improvisation. - about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today. - how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice. - how to create an artistic portfolio. Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.). The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals. Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

Ableton Live is a powerful program to play, compose and improvise music with. This course provides hands-on experience in producing, mixing, and sound design with a digital audio workstation. Students will learn the fundamentals characteristics of sound and digital audio, creative ways of composing music and an introduction to signal processing such as equalization, compression, delay, and reverb. In addition to core audio and mixing concepts, students will learn various production techniques, such as sequencing, arranging, automation, using virtual instruments (eg synths, samplers, and drum machine plugins), working with MIDI, plugin formats such as VST / Audio -Units, and mapping digital USB controllers for the studio and live performances. The moment of engagement between the performer and the listener it is the most intense feeling I’ve ever felt. It is a very unexpected moment, it just happens and there you are holding your instrument in front of people you are sharing your performance with. Suddenly everyone is waiting for you to continue the story you have been telling and everyone is just at the same time on the same place and you have what they need: a message they want to hear and they know you will share it with them. So once you do you reach that sensation, that moment, and what happens afterwards it is magic! It is absolutely wonderful how one, a hundred or even thousands of humans can be on hold for the same message and once it is delivered they just feel it the same exactly way as you do. This sensation is not only happening on a performance but also on a teaching situation. I’ve been teaching for some year from children to adults and I discovered that if you put all your energy all your love and passion and you give it all as a teacher or as a student you can reach this magical communication levels! Which makes a lesson such an experience! That is why as a teacher I am mostly focused on creativity and trough it the discoveries of your instrument always basing this process on your goals and ambitions which are the most important pillars of a musician!! I'm offering singing lessons for all levels and ages. Together we will explore your voice and build a healthy vocal technique. Hi, my name is Eva. I'm a classically trained singer with a bachelor's degree in singing from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I love to learn and research about voice. In my lessons, I pay attention to vocal technique (breath, phonation, resonance, articulation) and body movement. Our whole body is our instrument, so I like to incorporate exercises from different sources like Tao Face Yoga, Yoga, Qigong etc. Structure and consistency are important, but on the other hand, singing is also all about playfulness and spontaneity. So I try to keep that balance in the lesson. But the most important to me is that I create a warm and safe environment where students feel safe to open up and dare to express, feel, and explore their voices. Our voice is not only a tool to express, but have also positive effects on our hormones and nervous system. So singing is not only fun but also good for you! I have been exploring and studying (my) voice for over 10 years. I attended many masterclasses and training sessions focused on breathing, vocal technique, acting, stage presence, and more, giving me a broad knowledge and understanding of the voice.

About Harmony Course: Students learn principles of linear harmonic continuity and guide tone lines; minor key harmony; subdominant minor; blues theory and chord progressions. Students also learn melodic rhythm, form, and melody/harmony relationship. - Stylistic Composition Courses - About Counterpoint Course: We will explore the mechanics of basic contrapuntal technique, focusing on the horizontal aspects of composition; in other words, how melodies interact with one another. The course begins with writing a simple melodic line that works with an existing melody. About Fugue Course: A fugue is a multi-voice musical form that hinges on counterpoint between voices. The pupil will compose fugues for a single instrument (most notably a piano or other keyboard instrument), or they can write them for several individual players.

Learn to translate your creative ideas into your music! During these lessons you learn composition techniques to create your own compositions or to improve them. Techniques to help you to give a voice to your musical ideas! Your tunes for several instrumentations, e.g.: strings, woodwinds, brasses, percussion, jazz, pop/rock, or various combinations. We discuss what your musical preferences are and which way we go. In any case, fun is paramount! There's also the possibility to learn about Harmony and Keyboard Voicings (Chords/Harmony), and/or Jazz Hanon (Chord-Melody). These methods can be put into practice with Harmony Progressions (also with your own Compositions/Tunes, etc.), so we we can see how Harmony works with the concept of Functional Harmony and beyond. The lessons are for all ages/levels and are taught in Dutch, English, Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese. Online lessons are also possible via Skype, Zoom or Face Time!

In my lessons, I offer the study of vocal technique but above all I offer fun. I am convinced that singing is first of all therapeutic. I have learnt Voilin in India for 8 years. Now my kids have grown up and it gives me more flexibility to teach. I can teach Indian Classical Music and have some easy Bollywood compositions that you may practice with me. I require you to already know how to hold Voilin and must have taken some lessons, if you are not an Adult. For late learners of life, I am willing to examine starting from very basics of holding a Voilin.
