I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts freely. I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will be special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed, and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities. I am a classically trained guitarist with several years of experience and through professional guidance and lessons adapted to your own personality, we can discover your creative side. My aim is to help students acquire a correct technique and deep understanding of music and expression, which will help them perform important pieces of the classical guitar repertoire, as well as songs and pieces of different genres. About me: I am Nikos and I am a classical guitarist with 15 years of experience. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and from the age of 14, with the supervision of my teacher, I have been helping and guiding younger guitar students, giving me a hands-on experience in teaching from an early age. In 2019, I obtained my soloist diploma from the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts, giving me the right to teach and since then I have been teaching privately. Currently, I am studying with professor Pavel Steidl, at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague and I have been attending a Music Pedagogy course, as well as courses in Early Music. Since 2014, I have been attending guitar festivals and academies, giving me the opportunity to learn from some of the most important classical guitarists of our era and also be awarded prizes in national and international competitions, such as the 1st prize in Palaio Faliro guitar festival in Athens in 2020 and the 3rd prize in the 1st International Nikita Koshkin competition in Russia in 2021. In 2024, I was honored to receive a scholarship given each year to two European guitarists, giving me the opportunity to attend the Volterra Project Summer Guitar Institute 2024 in Volterra, Italy. Music Theory: In 2020 and 2021, I graduated from the music theory departments of the Hellenic Conservatory with a degree in Music Harmony and a degree in Counterpoint.

Playing guitar is a fun, stimulating, and exciting skill. Allow me to teach you how to play. Hey ! I am Pantelis(or Pante) and besides having a difficult to pronounce name I am a jazz guitar player, composer and teacher from Greece based in Den Haag. Last year I graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague where I studied Jazz Guitar Performance with Martijn Van Iteson and Ella Zirina. I teach electric, acoustic and classical guitar for all styles and ages. I am Rui, a Portuguese guitarist who has experience in teaching classical guitar to intermediate and advanced students. I am currently pursuing my bachelor in the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and I am willing to level up my skills as a teacher with your help. My insight to teach is to give my students the most efficient ways to improve their skills without overwhelming them. By this I mean that I can adapt to any level and any request the students have in their minds. Therefore, my approach will not be the same to every student that I have. I can give lessons in Portuguese and in English and they will be between 30 to 60 min.

Hi! I'm Loukas, and I offer guitar lessons that cater to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a budding beginner, an intermediate player seeking to refine your skills, or an advanced guitarist eager to explore new techniques, I'm your guide on this musical journey. My approach is centered on personalized, engaging, and productive lessons, allowing you to progress at your own pace while mastering music theory, technique, and a wide repertoire.

Guitar for beginners. This is the course where you learn the basic guitar skills. I teach electric, classical and acoustic (folk, flatpicking) guitars, you can learn a mix of these similar yet very specific techniques or focus on the one of your preference. In electric and acoustic guitars the first challenges are pick control, hand coordination and left hand positions (and shifting them). With classical guitar the goal will be using the right hand fingers independently, including the thumb for the bass notes and the left hand will have similar challenges to the other guitars. In classical guitar we will be playing polyphonic pieces (several voices) more often, in electric we’ll focus on chords, riffs and solos and with the acoustic we’ll play also chords with different strumming patterns, melodies, solos and lots of flatpicking exercises. Intermediate to advanced levels. If you want to take your guitar playing more seriously, this is the course for you. After having some control over the basic guitar techniques you may want to take it a little further, improvising, building your own chord progressions and solos and having a next level technique to improve your playing. In Guitar 2 we’ll work with scales, arpeggios, improvising, different picking techniques, more sophisticated harmonies, new chord voicings and tips to play in a group context. We will play blues, jazz and more advanced rock solos and riffs to help you build a strong and confident musical language. One of the things I’ve been doing over the years is helping candidates to University music courses to get ready for their admission exams and getting the skills needed to begin this new step of their lives successfully. That’s something I really like to do.
