As an English teacher, my approach is to personalize each lesson according to the needs, goals and interests of each student. I use different techniques and teaching methods to help my students improve their level of English in an effective and fun way. My teaching techniques and methods include the use of visual aids such as videos, images and infographics to facilitate understanding of grammar and vocabulary. I also practice listening and oral comprehension through dialogues, songs and podcasts. I encourage my students to practice speaking through conversation and pronunciation exercises, and to improve their writing through writing and editing exercises. The typical course of a course begins with an assessment of the student's knowledge and skills in English, in order to adapt the content of the course according to his level. We then review the student's goals and work on the specific language skills they want to improve. We end each lesson by evaluating the student's progress and giving them homework for the next session. My specificities as a teacher include my personalized approach and my intercultural communication skills. I am able to adapt my teaching methods to the specific cultures and needs of each student. I am a final year student at a Spanish university in Spain (Bac +4). I am studying translation and interpretation with English as my first language and French as my second. I work at the same time with Spanish and Catalan as mother tongues. Currently, I am in an Erasmus program in Nancy. I have been working as a teacher in Spain for at least 5 years, giving private lessons to small groups or individual students covering all subjects. Being a student makes it easier to communicate a message to another student, and since I have been in contact with foreign students too, I know which aspects of a language are used more on a daily basis.
