Applications for English at Oxford and Cambridge both involve a written assessment, both of which I provide expert tutoring and guidance in as a first-class Classics and English graduate from Oxford. English at Oxford uses the English Literature Admissions Test to decide who will be invited for interview, whereas at Cambridge only candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to take a written assessment. Both tests require detailed and thoughtful responses to literary extracts, which I will help develop your thinking and writing for. Applicants are also required to submit two pieces of written work prior to interview, which I am able to advise about if requested.
