Greetings! I am a geospatial analyst at Transport for London and I specialise in building and running Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through different technologies. As part of my specialisation, I teach and assist early and mid-career geographers with GIS, specifically how to retrieve and create data, run any type of geospatial analysis and interpret the results. I work in both QGIS and ArcGIS environments and I would be more than happy to help with specific projects the students have in mind, if applicable. In my opinion, Geography is one of the most important subjects to study as it gives a global perspective on current, real life matters. Hello, my name is Kate and I am a first-year student at the University of Toronto, majoring in political science and double minoring in European Affairs and Human Geography. I've attended the British School in the Netherlands and have completed both my GCSE's and the IB. During my GCSE's I took separate sciences, spanish, english literature, maths, drama and geography with grades ranging from 6-9. In IB I took higher level english literature, geography, spanish and standard level maths applications and interpretations, psychology and biology.
