Human contact is an indispensable condition for learning a language. For this reason, I always try to prioritize the conversation during my classes, but not before having established the necessary grammar bases to be able to carry out good oral communication. I use memorization techniques adapted to the natural predisposition to learning (visual, auditory or kinesthetic) of each student and combined with the principle of repetition by spaces (SRS) that ensures, according to neuroscientific studies, effective long-term memorization. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments. Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages. The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading.
