I offer violin lessons tailored to your desires. Open to all levels, for beginners or advanced players. A violinist for 20 years, I trained in baroque and classical music at a conservatory before developing different violin styles (oriental, Balkan, folk, South America, variety, film music, etc.) I could pass on to you one or more specific styles of violin depending on your project. You will be able to learn music that is close to your heart, and cultivate the pleasure of practicing. Learning by ear, without sheet music, is possible. One-off sessions dedicated to stress management, memorization and the methodology of your personal practice are possible if necessary. I am an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the renowned Rockacademie in Tilburg, Netherlands, and I have a music studio in the heart of Amsterdam. Working under the name Malvae, I write, sing, produce, mix, master, and perform my own music, enabling me to provide the entire process under one roof. My journey has led me to the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA on nr.17, features in films like the upcoming documentary 'King of the Streets', directed by an award-winning filmmaker, and even a Netflix series. Of course, we can also simply talk about your music or receive feedback, whatever you feel is best for you. While I primarily work in Ableton Live, my knowledge is applicable to any program you use. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios). I can teach some basic vocal skills to help get started on your singing journey and can help stretch the voice to help expand your vocal range as well! In these private lessons I will cover a broad range of topics that you'd like to learn about using Ableton Live! With over a decade in teaching experience across a broad range of topics, I'm prepared to customize lessons to make sure you get the most out of your time. To do this, we'll spend about 5-10 minutes just going through your own music background and experience (don't worry, this won't count towards lesson time) so I can get a sense of how best to progress your skills. Topics may include: beat-making, melody/harmony writing, arrangement, workflow tips, sound design, mixing and mastering, recording, live performance, sampling, and pretty much anything else you can think of to get your sounds off the ground. Any genre is okay!
