My experience in tutoring includes various subjects: English, German, Mathematics and Geography. I am passionate about meeting people and being able to share my knowledge. Throughout the last years I have studied and worked in English environments and have thus gained full proficiency and a level of C2. Besides English, I am fully proficient in German, have an intermediate understanding of Dutch and Italian, as well as basic knowledge of French. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

In my teaching, I focus on a systematic and structured approach, helping students build a strong foundation of knowledge. The lesson programs are adapted to each student’s goals — whether it is preparing for exams, relocating to Finland, or developing professional skills for working in an international environment. I place special emphasis on developing speaking skills, understanding cultural nuances, and building confidence in using Finnish in real-life situations.

VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!
