This course is above all there to make you want to play bass, let it be fun! It will be based on the practice of the instrument, on the understanding and the role of the bass. The theory will be based on the progress of the practice. Step by step, practice and theory will thus be complementary, and will necessarily be useful! In that time I engaged with many different exam boards at GCSE and A level delivering a range of different courses. I am passionate about all aspects of music, whether it be performing, composing or listening and analysis. Whatever you need help with, I am very keen to be able to offer my expertise in any or all of these areas. Each of the three disciplines is intrinsically connected with the other two and having a good grasp of all three will enable you to improve your ability overall.

I have been giving private music lessons and fortepiano for a long time. In addition to my classical music education in 2000, I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychopedagogy in 2006. This year I am interested in expanding my practice to include more students with special needs. I learned about the different ways music can help students with special needs. It helps them express their emotions and develop their memories and self-regulatory skills. It can show them strengths that they might not otherwise find during their school day. It can also open their eyes to a whole world of expression and beauty, enriching their lives. I find out what works for a particular student, what distracts them, what motivates them, what helps them focus and sometimes just learn how to relate to them. Relaxed does not equal lax! only that we will try to resort to dynamic and as practical methods as possible, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to highlight is that I always place special emphasis on the development of hearing, musicality and the analysis of your references.
