Your home – your project – your pace

Sewing lessons for beginners – in the comfort of your own home

Not only is Nicki a teacher with many years of experience teaching all ages, but she is also an accomplished seamstress. Now, she is bringing her unique mix of skills together and helping beginners to discover the joy of sewing.

With a passion for upcycling, recycling and the circular economy, Nicki repurposes as many fabrics as possible in her creations and enjoys nothing more than scouring antique shops for hidden and forgotten treasures to bring back to life.

To make learning to sew accessible to everyone, Nicki will come to your own home and teach you at your own pace. Whether you’d like to make a shopping bag, a make-up bag, a cushion or something to wear, we will tackle your project step by step – success is pretty much guaranteed!

Extra information

If you don’t have a sewing machine, we will provide one for your use during the lesson or Nicki will help you get to grips with any machine you already have.

Isaure
Certified seamstress and costume designer, I offer sewing and pattern making classes!
I learned sewing and pattern making from my grandmother, like many of us! Passionate about history, she passed on to me her love of savoir-faire, craftsmanship and historical costumes. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. I then specialised in costume and audiovisual productions by taking part in several short films. A year ago, I obtained my Master's degree in stage costume design and production. I was lucky enough to do several internships in Parisian fashion houses, especially in the tailoring workshops. My strong point is sharing my passion for the craft. :) Don't hesitate to contact me for more information or to request a course! PS: At first I can provide some of the sewing material. I am happy to share my skills and offer sewing and pattern making courses as well as styling. If you want to learn the basics, improve your technique, learn how to alter or upcycle your clothing or home linens, or give free rein to your imagination and creativity, I am here to help. I offer several types of courses depending on the level: 1) Introductory classes on the basics of sewing, materials, and making a small project. 2) Carrying out a creative project of the student's choice, which will have been previously discussed so that the student can prepare it as best as possible. 3) Carrying out a creative project prepared by me to awaken the student's creativity and curiosity.

Molding Course: Haute Couture. at the end of your year: a Fashion Event in TUNIS TABARKA, SOUSSE, HAMMAMET, JERBA, GABES
PRIVATE LESSONS ____ choose your course according to your needs ____ FASHION IS A LITTLE STORY THAT ENDS IN A BIG LOVE _____ MOUFIDA. I am a sewing teacher, fashion designer, fabric designer. Tunisian,: Learn to make models or your own model. Easy and quick molding course. Take measurements, fitting, alterations, sewing on machine. Dear member, you will be able to choose your private lessons according to your needs. MOLDING WITHOUT PRIOR PATTERN This consists of forming directly on the body, using a simply squared and reinforced canvas, all the darts and assembly seams that require a perfect fit...neckline and armhole lines, etc. This sort of basic pattern thus obtained on the body, is then transferred to paper and interpreted according to very precise technical rules. These technical rules, like those that are applied to mold the body, follow logically from the principles exposed for the outline of the theoretical basic pattern that we have just studied and its perfect adaptation to the body, which we are going to do.
