Hi everyone, My music adventure started with playing piano when I was 8 years old. When I was 14, I got accepted from Istanbul University State Conservatoire and started to play flute and saxophone. After I graduate, I went to Marmara University Music Education department in Istanbul and graduated in 2016. In the same year, I moved to the Netherlands in order to study jazz music. I graduated from Prince Claus Conservatoire in 2020 and moved to Berlin last January for work and my master programme. I used to perform on various genres with different setups in lots of different venues in Istanbul and Europe. I mainly play contemporary/experimental music, but also enjoy playing and teaching pop, jazz, classical, blues, funk, soul, latin, afro-jazz.

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. Theory is fascinating, it will reveal to you the mechanism of music - be it classical or pop - and will make playing and writing music much more natural. Like speaking a language you now know. I can teach it to you in a musical, natural and enjoyable way. All I ask from you is to have a small keyboard, but don't get intimidated - no piano skills are required! Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service.
