I graduated in Political and Economic Science at the University of Milan. After working for a year for an American company in Milan, I moved to Australia, where I have worked, studied and traveled for two years.
It has been an incredible experience! I had the opportunity of visiting beautiful places, discovering so many different cultures and developed myself from a personal and professional point of view.
Since two years, I have been living in Haarlem - a wonderful city close to Amsterdam - and to the coast 🌊 - in the Netherlands. I love teaching and helping people to find out more about Italian culture, history, and arts. I would love to use all the modern techniques of teaching that I learned and practiced them with you. I am a 24 year old Italian girl. I have been living in the Netherlands for a few years and I offer Italian lessons. I have been teaching Dutch adults for almost three years. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

I offer Italian lessons for adults using a specific, very lively and effective method that will allow you to understand, read books in Italian, watch films in the original version and above all to express yourself quickly, with a solid grammatical foundation, in everyday life, but also to have rich conversations with your interlocutors. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
