Composing and producing electronic music (analog and digital)

Composition is hard to define and is by no means limited to one particular style or genre. Our meetings would provide a framework and the context for you to delve deeper into your chosen ideas and creations. As well as composition, I am able to assist you with music theory, ear training, piano and general musicianship. I plan my lessons individually and orientate myself towards your goals. Whether you want to create a Bach fugue or a new single for your EDM album, I would be there to support your stylistic decisions.

Hallo, mein Name ist Pia und ich bin Flötistin :) Ich habe mit 8 Jahren angefangen, Flöte zu lernen, es hat mir sofort gefallen und so habe ich nach der Musikschule mein Studium am Konservatorium in Maribor (Slowenien) fortgesetzt, danach habe ich an der Kunst Universität Graz studiert und 2024 habe ich meinen Bachelor an der Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität in Klagenfurt abgeschlossen. Dort habe ich einen Abschluss in Konzertfach und einen Abschluss in Instrumentalpädagogik gemacht. Während meines Studiums absolvierte ich auch einen Spezialisierungskurs in Alter Musik mit dem Hauptfach Traversflöte. Daher biete ich auch Unterricht für Anfänger auf diesem schönen Barockinstrument an. Während meines Studiums hatte ich einige Privatschüler, mit denen ich die Klänge der Flöte und verschiedene Genres (Klassik, Pop, Jazz, Volksmusik, Improvisation usw.) erkundet habe. Mein Unterricht ist entspannt und kommunikativ, voll von gemeinsamem Musizieren. Der Unterricht kann auch online stattfinden. Anfänger sind ebenso willkommen wie diejenigen, die ihre Kenntnisse vertiefen oder nach einiger Zeit wieder mit dem Flötenspiel beginnen möchten! :)

Rose is a classical cellist from Australia with extensive teaching experience and cello performance qualifications. She is currently studying her Master's in Cello Performance at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Rose has worked as a private cello teacher since 2014. In 2019 she was the Residential Music Tutor at Janet Clarke Hall, the University of Melbourne, and in the same year completed her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in Cello Performance, graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. In 2020 she was a Lead Teaching Artist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's outreach program, and in 2021 she relocated to Vienna to pursue her Master's degree at the MDW. Rose has experience teaching students of all levels and ages, and offers lessons in both English and German.

"Piano Strings" for Cover Artistry is a special course for complete beginners and advanced piano or keyboard players, who wants to explore, play and create a unique arrangement of their favourite song. Genres: Classical music, Pop, World music. The course is progressively made of ear training, piano playing, basics of music theory, harmony, arranging, singing and performing as a summary of learned skills. Coaching is taking place on acoustic piano, E-piano as well as keyboard. Lessons are taking place per Zoom or Skype for now.

My name is Weronika, I graduated from the Koninklijk Conservatory in Den Haag. I have been playing the violin since I was 7: from classical music to improvised style. To develop skills as a musician I was learning about music theory, harmony and music history for many years. I'd be happy to give you more depth in these subjects. I studied sound engineering, I teach how to use DAW programs (ProTools / Ableton / Logic / Garage Band). Playing the piano is my passion! I am currently studying music education with the main instrument piano at the MDW (Music and Performing Arts Vienna). These plug-ins can solve utility and sonic tasks. With Max, you can even design your own synthesizers, from the sound engine to the visual interface.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. My goal is to help you create your own music, whether it be popular songs or works for different instruments. You will be able to capture your creations in sheet music and you will have the basic tools to use editing software and DAWs. In the end I hope you can compose and record your own music.
