Transverse flute, piccolo and bamboo flute with construction of your own instrumentcourse description
My students particularly appreciate me for the large repertoire and techniques with which I can help them feel comfortable on the instrument and make music. Playing the flute is much more than just making music. You'll learn to breathe properly, learn something with a positive mindset, and maybe you'll also find out the quickest and easiest way to learn. I look forward to your registrations! 🤩

Flute magic - flute lessons for children and young peopleI think it's important for children that flute lessons are also music education. For beginners, we get to know the breathing technique through creative games, the "blow competition" with crumpled paper balls is particularly popular. We learn the rhythms with claps and rhymes, but I often explain the bar structure by assembling Lego blocks. I show musicality and technique accompanied by songs, improvisation, playing the flute or piano together. You don't even notice, you're so good at it that you can give your family your own concert. And if you already play the flute, bring your favorite pieces, even pop songs, to class! If you're playing with a band, I'll give you ideas and tips. If you already know all the tones, I'll even show you new techniques like whistling or drumming on the flute. There is always something new and surprising on this instrument! Flute lessons from classical to pop to improvisation for all agesTogether we will explore the flute instrument in more detail and set out to achieve your wish or goal - be it learning a song by Billie Eilish, playing her favorite piece at grandma's birthday party, working on your technique and your fingers to train them so that they can play very fast passages, to discover new music with me in class and have fun, or, or, or!
Beginners as well as advanced or returnees of all ages are welcome.
I myself come from Aargau, but live and study in Bern at the University of the Arts. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in education. In addition to great chamber music and improvisation projects, I play and organize in the Bern student orchestra. I also have many years of experience with wind orchestras and enjoy leading register rehearsals.
In addition to music, I really enjoy being in nature, for example in the mountains or the refreshing Aare. I also enjoy reading and am interested in psychological topics.
I look forward to making music with you!

Piano and electric bass lessons in the middle of Bern (Aarbergergasse)My focus is on the styles of rock/pop/jazz and improvisation. I would also be happy to delve into music theory and show you the basics (and beyond...) of harmony.
If you're not a grader, it doesn't matter! My first piano lessons were very note based and almost ruined my playing! I'm a firm believer that playing songs by ear from the start helps us absorb songs faster. Of course, the eyes also work and shape patterns, figures and tone sequences on the fretboard or. on the keyboard. Of course, I would also be happy to teach you how to read music.

Piano and E-Bass Lessons for all levels in Downtown BernDuring the meetings we will work on three well distinguished areas: technique, improvisation and the interpretation of written pieces. In our first encounters, we will establish clear goals, such as securing a repertoire and/or developing specific skills. According to the each musician's needs and intentions, we will discuss topics of music theory, practice ear training and even compose new pieces.
Over the years, I have collected and created a broad variety of materials and exercises and am constantly gathering and tailoring new ones for the attendants. My approach goes beyond the limitations of musical styles. Whether its European Classical, mainstream Pop, Indie Rock, a Latin-American Folk genre or Jazz, all music can be well performed when it is adequately approached and researched.
Looking forward to meeting!

Learning to play the flute and deepening music theoryLearn to play the flute! First, we will focus on the sound production, the position of the mouthpiece and your posture. Then we will deal with playful pieces, we can play in duet and play melodies that you like. Playing the flute will help you develop your memory, hearing and breathing skills.
Benjámin
Solfège and Theoretical subjects of music, Piano, TromboneMusic theory, an essential subject to deeply understand music.
As I am Hungarian, I studied the Kodály method. It is a rather special method which is characterized by a lot of singing, creativity and rhythmic games, which was invented for the education of the people, not for the musical elite. Its effectiveness is proven by many musicians who have grown up in this extraordinary system.
During the lessons we would do several types of exercises:
- listening exercises
- writing exercises
- sing songs, melodies, chords, intervals...
(I am flexible regarding this subject, the student can advise activities/subjects (ex: history of music...))
The goal:
- find the connection between musicality-instrument-theory
- improve ear (absolute/relative), sight-reading, musicality, theoretical knowledge

Piano Playing, Music Theory, Music Harmony, Music HistoryI am happy to be able to give joy and confidence in piano playing to each person who is interested, no matter what level, nor age that person has!:)
As a certified teacher ( I fulfilled my BA of piano performance and instrumental teaching in Austria, currently studying a MA), the main points of my teaching focus on the following aspects;
-teaching different stiles (ex pop songs) with the main focus on classical piano
-adapting the methods to each student in an individual way
-focusing on the physical (body contact, relaxation, "healthy playing")
and psychological well-being (reassuring the confidence, building a
foundation for a creative development) of the students
-varying from "notes playing" to improvisation, musical dialogues
and duets
-presenting a clear, yet detailed, colorful way of each piece as an
argument for the student's own understanding/perception regarding it
-approaching and developing technique from musicality
-respecting, supporting and effectively communicating with each
student
I offer Piano lessons, as well as auxiliare music subjects such as music theory, harmony, music history.

Clarinet lessons in Bern. Clarinet lessons online via Skype/ZoomIndividual clarinet lessons for children and adults (all levels (English, German, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian)).

I believe that all knowledge comes with a price of a change which then provokes us again to start learning ourselves and finding the best possible ways of expression.
On the other side, my pedagogical idea is to allow pupils/students to explore themselves and to give them enough space and possibilities to try out, risk, and eventually find their way of communicating.
Also, my aim as a teacher is to show that the process of learning and exploring is always, if done properly, first of all, an exploration of oneself, and therefore, cannot and should not become a dull process of receiving information without an obvious purpose.
My experience as a teacher has shown me that between very young (5-12) and older people (19-27), (the age groups with whom I have worked), there is actually no big difference and that the only thing which separates the teaching process is the approach towards them as personalities.
With this said and including the fact that I am experienced in working with both groups of people, I over in my add lessons to everybody, without age or skill difference.
I am fluent in all clarinets from the clarinet family including the baroque clarinet and the contrabass clarinet.
