Ableton Live is packed with a ton of stock plugins that can be used to increase the quality of your mixdowns. Thorough understanding of everything that Ableton Live offers, however, is required to fully utilize these plugins and push them to their limits.

We will tailor these sessions towards whatever areas of music production you desire. I can help up your skills in sound design, recording techniques, and composition. In this class, we will be exploring music by learning your favorite songs from any genre you enjoy. I will personalize the lessons to your needs and make sure we cover all the fundamentals that will set you on the right track! I will teach you how to: - learn songs by ear, (pop, jazz r&b, funk, fusion, hip-hop, and whatever you like honestly) - improvise, - compose, - understand music theory (harmony, rhythm, scales, progressions, sight-reading etc.) - produce and sound design in Ableton. About me: Education: I started playing music at 7 years old, went through 12 years of music school, and then moved to Amsterdam and spent 4 years learning jazz guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I frequently play with various bands ranging from Pop and Funk to Jazz Fusion and even Techno. Vlad is an electronic music producer and composer with more than a decade experience in producing sound design and bespoke productions and compositon for movie, theatre, games and live events. He worked with companies such as Yamaha, Dior & Ellie Saab. As flash education is the new trend on the web, I try to identify myself as someone that does not take pride in giving "tips&tricks" classes rather to build toghether a path towards nolt only the understanding of the musical concepts, but towards their discovery. Through the use of Ableton Live I will cover music theory and it's appplication to the digital and analog world, exploring electronic and acoustic music, providing by time to time free tools and subsequent explanaition on how to use them, to build not only an in depth knowledge, but an efficient workflow.
