This is what I offer you through my course: tune the instrument, work on your first chords and quickly play your first songs; read tablature, discover and master scales and modes to combine them with playing expressions such as hammer-ons, pull-offs, legato; develop your musical ear by exploring the depth of certain styles such as pop, rock, blues, jazz, bossa nova, funk just to name a few. All this will no longer have any secrets for you! Whether you have no experience or a few weeks of practice at hand, we will go step by step, taking into account your level, so that you evolve at your own pace and consistently. But don't forget the most important thing: have fun!

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! Hello everyone I'm Giorgos and i teach theorbo and classical guitar! The theorbo is a historical instrument born in the late 16th century, with a (potentially very) long neck and 14 strings. It's main purpose is to accompany one's self while singing, or other instruments or groups by playing mainly a low (bass) part which we fill with other notes that are indicated to us based on what the other instruments are doing, called a basso continuo part. One of the reasons I started playinf for the pure joy of being able to accompany and play with people, and if you share this idea you're more than welcome to join me and explore it. There's beautiful solo music to explore although it's nowhere nearly as much as our accompanying pieces are! The repertoire and possibilities of the guitar are huge, and i like to structure my lessons based on what you like to listen to and to play, while maintaining a certain path on the classical technique. I've been teaching for a long time and i'm very comfortable with it, and i enjoy seeing people get passionate about the instrument. It's a great hobby and a great calling to follow! I'll be happy to work together.
