As I am both truly passionate about teaching and a native speaker, I offer Polish lessons for every level and age! I always choose teaching/learning methods individually with the students as every one of you has different goals, interests and needs. I offer basic language lessons from beginner to advanced, tutorials (also on specific chosen topics, for example business or medical) and conversations (A2-C2). I can teach online (I'm open to every communication tool), at student's place or in public places of our choice. I also offer group classes from 2 to 4 people. A lot of Polish people live and work in Belgium and are delighted to be able to have a conversation in their mother tongue while they are here. In Belgium you can hear a lot of Polish in the street! Polish is a Slavic language that is related to Czech and Slovakian. The language is written in Latin characters with a number of specific Polish signs. Polish also has a number of cases and a specific syntaxis. I will show you the Polish alphabet step by step, as well as the use of verbs and cases. I will try to teach the most important grammar rules of the Polish language. Moreover, your Polish vocabulary will constantly increase and your fluency enhance. As such you will start your own conversations in Polish.

I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. I worked at a language center between 2009-2016 where I was a director of studies and taught mainly English as a foreign/second language. Since 2005, when I first started teaching Polish, I have taught children and adults on a variety of language proficiency levels and with a variety of needs, mainly individually. I constantly seek progress, meaning that I study further through reading books/articles concerning didactics/methodology and learning difficulties (chiefly dyslexia), observing other teachers as well as attending seminars (online or face-to-face). During my lessons I use : - Skype/Whatsapp/Messenger to connect with you, - Google Docs to keep notes, which you can check at any time and they are yours to keep, - sketch board me to make mind maps to show connections between ideas, etc. - books, PPP, word docs, diagrams, pics, etc. - pronunciation/spelling/grammar games, - authentic materials were taken from websites. I adore my profession and desire each and every one of my students be satisfied with the lesson. That's why I make sure the atmosphere is stress-free and nice. I also want my lessons to be as effective and close to real-life needs as possible. Therefore, I make sure they are well-prepared, although they can be altered at any point, should such an opportunity arise.
