Learn basic danish both speaking and writing with pronunciation as a key focus. If beginner we’ll start with the alphabet and the numbers. Furthermore we will work with common phrases used in Denmark on a daily basis and good words to know.

I have worked fulltime, for the past 15 years, as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Sweden, to Danish parents and live with an Englishman. I teach said three languages to both private and commercial clients, placing great emphasis on client needs and abilities. Cultural knowledge is also very important to the understanding of any language and is therefore included in all courses. The dreaded grammar is the fundamental building block to a language, but I try to make it as fun as possible.......as well as the homework and self-study.

Who am I? I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students. I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams. I also offer seminars, webinars, and fun activities such as role-playing games and escape rooms to learn Italian while having fun. **My education and studies** I hold two degrees and a master’s degree. My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome. **What did I do before teaching?** Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. I also collaborated with film festivals, particularly promoting Italian cinema abroad. **My teaching philosophy** I aim to provide my students with all my multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity to offer Italian lessons that include careful grammatical analysis. Beware of those who claim that Italian can be learned without studying grammar: grammar is essential for fully understanding the language system and enables students to become independent right away. Learning grammar is fun and makes learning long-lasting. My lessons do not only focus on the Italian language, but also include insights into Italian culture, from cinema to fashion, from art to design. I also periodically organize meetings with famous Italian artists, including figures from the world of street art. Danish for beginners and current students who are learning Danish in school and need some help with their material. I am born and raised in Denmark so my Danish level is native 100%. I am also open to working with Arab-speaking people to strengthen your Danish. Depending on your level, we will work with some fun activities, and do some speech exercises as well. Update 15/09/2020: I have, by now, had experience with 2 different age groups on Apprentus; A 7-year-old and a 29-year-old. I definitely see a difference in their learning pattern, and it has helped me broaden my horizon in terms of teaching techniques!
