Geneva - Lausanne - Morges Courses in English, French, Italian (native languages) - German (European level B2) As a graduate of the Geneva Conservatory of Music, I offer with great enthusiasm, excellent methodology, and a strong desire to share my passion, piano and music theory lessons for all levels. Having completed 12 years of studies in Piano and Music Theory, as well as courses in Musical Training and Sight-Reading, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to both beginners and advanced students with the same passion that my teachers (including Sodi Braide, who studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM), and Stéphanie Aubert) used to bring me to my current level—performing in major concerts and competitions with first prize at the CMG. As a mechanical engineering student at EPFL, I can adapt the lessons in a fun yet rigorous way, to captivate young beginners. At the same time, my background allows me to expand and deepen the pianistic knowledge of advanced pianists. I look forward to sharing my passion with you!

The viola has been my instrument since I was little. Graduated in musical education from the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, I now teach in primary schools with the aim of transmitting this passion. Patient and loving to work with all ages, I adapt and find a solution to help the learning of the instrument and thus the memorization of lessons and pieces. I can also learn the basics of music theory and help afterwards. I give lessons for beginner Viola, intermediate and help for advanced.

My goal is to approach music with body awareness and listening work. Establishing a link with the student to better adapt the approach and content to their needs is important. The body, rhythm and improvisation are at the heart of my pedagogy, having myself been trained at the Jacques Dalcroze Institute. I like to base my lessons on active student participation by trying to find out what the student has understood to find which approach suits each person best. This is why it is important that the student sometimes practices exercises that I give him.

My aim is to help people play music easily and have fun while they are playing I teach people how to read chords so that they can basically play any modern music (Beatles, pop, etc). Most of the modern songs are composed of 4 chords repeated over and over. If you learn the 8 chords (there are only 8 chords) you can basically learn to play all modern songs. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
