I am Michele, a professional musican with a Classical Guitar Master degree and I give guitar and music theory lessons for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. I believe that studying classical guitar is one of the best ways to acquire technique (such as arpeggiated, scales, good left hand position, rasgueado ect ...), musicality and expression which can later be exploited to play whatever you want, including other musical genres. I usually aim at the student's acquisition of basic knowledge relating to the instrument and music theory and then follow a path that best suits the characteristics, tastes and objectives of each one. Each lesson is unique, adapted to the student's personality. I am also available for the preparation of the entrance exams to the guitar courses (preparatory courses, Bachelor, Master) of the Conservatory.

Dear student, I have been a piano teacher for 5 years. Three years ago I did my Bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. I give violin lessons from any level and age (3 or more years old), in a pleasant, productive, and interesting way. I am very familiar with the Suzuki teaching method. If you are not familiar with it, I recommend you to have a quick look at it on the internet, or any other source of information. I can also offer classes in music theory (tonalities, harmony, scales, intervals...etc) and musical language (rhythm, intonation). I'm a professional violinist.

My name is João, I'm from Portugal, I'm 24 years of age, and I'm doing my bachelor's in jazz at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I've been playing piano all my life, and can't wait to share what I've learned with you! I teach piano to all ages from beginner to intermediate. Although I have a program, I will let you create your own path, taking into account the several landmarks I create according to your level and needs. Teaching is all about the individuality of each person I work with, and as a student myself, I find it to be one of the most important points in teaching. I focus mainly on jazz music, but since music theory and harmony respect all kinds of music, I am open to every suggestion you bring into the class. The lessons will focus on learning music through listening, as well as introducing the student to music theory, and reading scores. Have you always dreamt of recording your own song? Do you want to take your musical ideas to the next level? Regardless if you've never recorded your own music or if you've already experimented with Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), this course will teach you the basics of music composition and production. We will use both basic music theory and music production tricks to come up with and create your first song(s). From brainstorming song ideas on the piano or guitar, recording vocals and percussion or adding drums in the DAW, you will have complete freedom over your creativity. Main skills taught: basics of DAWs, recording and mixing instruments and vocals, using and manipulating samples, creating drum beats and chord progressions, music theory, expressing and communicating musical ideas, complementary knowledge about music history. Hi! My name is Zoë and I am an oboist. I have completed a Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University and am now starting my Master of Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. I love to share my passion for music with others, and in my lessons you will learn about music that interests you and most importantly, have fun! I have been teaching for six years. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities, in individual lesson environments, group lessons, reed making lessons, small ensemble tutoring, and orchestral tutoring. I have experience with all genres of classical music, and have a strong background in music theory, aural skills, musicology, and composition. Lessons with me will incorporate all skills involved to become a well rounded musician. Some of the highlights of my musical career so far have included being principal oboist and orchestral manager of the Australian National University Orchestra and performing E. Goossens' Oboe Concerto at their 2022 Concerto Gala, playing tutti oboe in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, principal oboe in the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra's Young Mannheim Symphonists Orchestra, and performing in the Olive Trio, a chamber music ensemble consisting of oboe, violin and harp, made up of members of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. I give lessons in Dutch and English.

I am a professional musician from Sydney and have a Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz) from the Sydney University. Over 10 years of experience teaching and over 20 years playing the trumpet. My playing experience covers all styles and includes numerous performances with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, small jazz ensembles, NDR Bigband, rock band Caravãna Sun, Tim Minchin and session work including Dancing with the Stars and The Voice in Australia. Private trumpet tuition of all ages/levels ranging from 7 years old to University students, holistic approach and/or training for relevant exams. Technical method is a refined hybrid of multiple trumpet methods tailored to the individual student, including: Caruso Method, Adams Routine, Flexus, Arbans, Schlossberg and Stamp.

Apprendre par l’expérience du corps permet d’aborder toutes ces choses d’une manière dirigée et facilement accessible La compréhension du rapport entre son et corps, c’est surtout comprendre que par l’apprentissage on unifie des éléments séparés. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.

This class is designed for GCSE and A-Level music students eager to develop their composition skills in line with exam requirements. With a focus on originality and creativity, we will explore compositional techniques, musical structures, and stylistic understanding across a variety of genres. Each session will offer practical exercises and guided tasks tailored to exam criteria, encouraging students to build confidence and express their unique musical voice. Through regular feedback, constructive discussions, and assignment of relevant exercises between lessons, students will gain a deeper understanding of music theory, harmony, and instrumentation to enhance their compositions. My goal is to challenge students to think independently and to prepare them thoroughly for the composition components of their music exams, all within a supportive and engaging online environment.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not?
