- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living in Rome. I have 10 years teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

You will learn how to make the types of biscuits used in cakes (genoise, moulin cake, moulin cake, etc.). You will learn a group of creams and fillings for cakes and methods of covering cakes with several materials with the method of decoration, whether with sugar paste, butter cream, or Chantilly cream, in a professional manner. You will also learn traditional and modern Algerian sweets, Western sweets, and various desserts and juices. You will also learn with us how to cook several traditional and modern cooking recipes.

In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

I am a professional interpreter and translator with eight years of experience teaching people of all ages in Italy, China and Switzerland. I am an Italian national and the strong passion for foreign languages led me to undertake an academic and professional career with English and Chinese: this allowed me to teach also abroad. My goal is to transmit the same passion to my students through courses that are not only structured according to personal needs, but are also interactive, enjoyable and include interesting and diverse exercises and activities. ME: I have a Bachelor's degree in Oriental Languages and a Master's degree in Interpreting and Translation. During the latter, I won a four-month Erasmus scholarship in China.
